\"MikeDer Kanadier Mike McDonald sicherte sich gleich zwei der begehrten Trophäen. Neben dem Award als 'Bester Überseespieler', erhielt er auch den 'Publikums Award'. McDonald gewann die EPT Dortmund und nahm dabei fünf seiner sieben Gegenspieler vom Tisch. Mit 18 Jahren war er der jüngste EPT-Gewinner aller Zeiten. Sein Preisgeld betrug €933.600.<\/p>

Julian Thew aus England wurde ebenfalls mit zwei Awards ausgezeichnet. Den Award für die 'Beste Performance' verdankt er seiner Darbietung bei der EPT Baden. Am Final Table behauptete er sich unter anderem gegen Thomas Fuller, Thierry van den Berg und den deutschen Manfred Hammer. Dazu wurde er mit dem 'Presse Award' ausgezeichnet.<\/p>

\"EPT'Bester Newcomer' wurde Trond Eidsvig aus Norwegen. Der cashte in der vergangenen Saison gleich fünfmal. Dreimal erreichte er dabei den Final Table. Platz 5 in Barcelona folgten Platz 4 in Dublin und Rang 8 in Warschau.<\/p>

Der US-Amerikaner Danny Ryan wurde 'Bester PokerStars Qualifikant'. Ryan wird zu den besten Onlinespielern der Welt gezählt und wurde unter anderem Zehnter bei der EPT Dortmund.<\/p>

\"Luca
\nDer wichtigste Award ging nach Italien. Luca Pagano cashte dreimal bei der letztjährigen Tour. Platz 24 in Dublin, Platz 27 in Kopenhagen und Rang 6 im Grand Final Monte Carlo. Sein Preis für die Leistung: der 'Player of the Year' Award.<\/p>

Ohne Auszeichnung blieben leider die beiden deutschen Spieler Johannes Strassmann und Jan Heitmann. Dabei befinden sich die beiden jedoch in guter Gesellschaft. Ebenfalls nominiert gewesen, aber leer ausgegangen: Annette Obrestad, Jason Mercier, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Glen Chorny, Tim Vance, Isaac Baron, Raymond Rahme, Christian Harder und Thierry Van der Berg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t\t<\/tr>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
