\nMit einem Paukenschlag eröffnete die EPT gestern ihre nunmehr fünfte Saison. Die enorme Attraktivität der Turnierserie lockte wieder unzählige Pokergrößen an die Tische, so unter anderem David Benyamine, Glen Chorny, Jason Mercier, David Rheem, Noah Schwartz, Michael und Robert Mizrachi, Mark Teltscher, David Ulliott, Annette Obrestad, und viele weitere Pros. <\/p>

Die PokerStars<\/a> Pros waren natürlich ebenfalls vertreten: Andre Akkari, Noah Boeken, Chad Brown, Victoria Coren, Alex Gomes, Alexander Kravchenko, Greg Raymer und Vanessa Rousso repräsentieren das Team.<\/p>

\nDie deutschen Starter<\/b>\n<\/p>

\nAus Deutschland gingen mit 17 Teilnehmern erfreulich viele Spieler an den Start. Mit Michael Bernhard Murra errang einer von ihnen zunächst den vorläufigen Chiplead. Den Chiplead hielt zwischenzeitlich auch Michael Keiner - mit seinen Pocket Assen wurde er gleich von drei Gegenspielern voll ausbezahlt. Am Ende des Tages blieb ihm zwar nicht der Chiplead, doch Keiner zog sicher in Tag 2 ein. Auch Andreas Krause, Johannes Strassmann, George Danzer und Diamond Peter 'PeterBee<\/b>' Bürmann überstanden Tag 1.<\/p>
