Die europäischen Speedrunner stehen in den Startlöchern<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Erst im Mai wurde uns mit dem ESA Corona Relief<\/a> eine Online-Ausgabe der beliebten Speedrun-Events von der European Speedrunner Assembly<\/a> beschert, wo speziell für die Leidtragenden der aktuellen Corona-Pandemie gesammelt wurde.<\/p>\n

Erneut spielten dabei die besten Speedrunner der Welt Klassiker sowie moderne Spiele im Rekordtempo<\/strong> durch. Dabei beteiligten sich tausende verschiedene Spender und auch zahlreiche PokerStrategen waren am Start!<\/p>\n

Nun gibt es wieder einen Spendenmarathon vom 24. Juli bis zum 2. August<\/strong>. Und da Corona immer noch zu speziellen Maßnahmen zwingt, gibt es das Sommerevent nur online. Das reguläre ESA-Sommerevent wurde auf Oktober verschoben. Ob das dann wirklich wie geplant mit Zuschauern stattfinden kann, ist aber noch fraglich.<\/p>\n

Im Fokus steht jedenfalls dieses Mal die Alzheimerforschung. Gesammelt wird nämlich für den Alzheimerfonden<\/a><\/strong>, mit dem die Erforschung und Behandlung dieser und ähnlicher Krankheiten unterstützt werden.<\/p>\n

Nur Vollgas zählt!<\/h2>\n

Die ersten Spiele werden bei Twitch seit Freitag<\/strong> im Rekordtempo durchgezockt, mit dem üblichen Gameplay auf allerhöchstem Niveau und dem einen oder anderen unterhaltsamen Glitch und Bug. Auch Interaktion seitens der Zuschauer wird ermöglicht, indem Charaktere benannt<\/strong>, kosmetische Items ausgesucht<\/strong> und sogar die Schwierigkeit der Spiele bestimmt<\/strong> werden kann.<\/p>\n
