In einem vorangegangenen Artikel<\/a> habe ich zwei Konzepte ins Spiel gebracht, die manch einem vielleicht eher wenig sagen: der Range-Vorteil und der Nuts-Vorteil. Entsprechend will ich heute etwas genauer auf die beiden Begriffe eingehen.<\/p>

Um zu den Gewinnern in der modernen Pokerära zu gehören, muss man seine Entscheidungen auf Basis der eigenen und der gegnerischen Range treffen, anstatt wie früher lediglich gemäß der eigenen Hand und einer möglichen Hand beim Gegner.<\/p>

Von einem Range-Vorteil<\/strong> spricht man, wenn ein Spieler beim Blick auf die Gesamtheit aller Hände in einer Range stärker aufgestellt ist. In solch einem Fall kann man grundsätzlich aggressiver agieren, selbst wenn die eigene Hand den Flop vollends verpasst hat.<\/p>

Beim Nuts-Vorteil<\/strong> wird betrachtet, wie häufig man mit der eigenen Range in der Lage ist, eine extrem starke Hand zu treffen, das heißt, mindestens ein Two Pair oder besser. Hat man den Nuts-Vorteil auf seiner Seite, kann man größere Bets setzen und damit grundsätzlich mehr Respekt vor der eigenen Rangestärke \"einfordern\".<\/p>

Für den einen oder anderen mögen beide Vorteile nun praktisch dieselben Auswirkungen haben, das ist jedoch nicht der Fall, wie ein konkretes Beispiel aufzeigen kann:<\/p>

Range-Vorteil gegen Nuts-Vorteil<\/h2>

Nehmen wir an, wir raisen UTG mit einer soliden tighten Range, die sich aus den folgenden Händen zusammensetzt:<\/p>

Der Gegner verteidigt seinen Big Blind und wir nehmen an, dass er die meisten Premium-Hände preflop raisen würde, zum Balancen der eigenen Range einige sehr starke Hände in manchen Fällen aber auch nur flatten würde:<\/p>

Der Flop bringt in der Folge 4<\/span> 2<\/span> 2<\/span>.<\/p>

Auf solch einem Flop halten wir den Range-Vorteil, da wir jede Menge mögliche Overpairs und auch die bessere Ace-High-Hände haben. Auch wenn wir nur sehr selten mit dem Board connecten, können wir setzen, da wir für gewöhnlich die beste Hand halten sollten.<\/p>

Der Gegner kann auf dem Board jedoch reraisen, da er den Nuts-Vorteil hält. Auch wenn er den Flop in den meisten Fällen verpasst, hat er 44, 22, 32s und A2s in seiner Range, während die einzige 2 in unserer nur mit A2s zustande kommt. Wir halten in dem Spot also die meisten starken Hände, der Gegner jedoch mehr Hände, die Trips oder besser treffen konnten.<\/p>

Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass wir in dem Spot nicht betten sollten. Es ist nach wie vor ein sehr gutes Board für unsere Range. Der Nuts-Vorteil auf Seiten des Gegners bedeutet jedoch, dass nur er große Bluffs, Reraises, Check-Raises und anderer \"Powermoves\" spielen kann. Ein guter Gegner würde das auf einem derartigen Flop erkennen und auf genau solche Plays sollte man sich vorbereiten, wenn man allmählich in den Limits beim Poker aufsteigt.<\/p>
