\nInsgesamt 690 Spieler trafen am 20. November im River Rock Casino (Bild links unten) in Richmond ein. $2.500 betrug das Buy-In für das Main Event. Unter den Teilnehmern waren auch einige große Namen wie Daniel Negreanu, Liz Lieu, Gavin Smith, Dennis Phillips und Isabelle Mercier.\n<\/p>

\nAm Ende konnte sich der gebürtige Kanadier durchsetzen und holte den Titel sowie ein Preisgeld von $371.910. Damit war 'Kid Poker' bereits das dritte mal in den letzten Monaten vorne in den großen Geldrängen mit dabei, nachdem er Fünfter des WSOPE Main Events wurde und bei der WSOP ein Bracelet in einem $2.000 Fixed Limit Event holen konnte.\n<\/p>

\nDer sympathische Kanadier äußerte sich sehr glücklich über den Sieg. Es sei eine große Ehre, in seinem Heimatland eines der größten Turniere zu gewinnen. Weiterhin lobte er die Organisation sowie die Struktur des Turnieres.\n<\/p>
