Im Gegensatz zum Cashgame kann man beim Turnierpoker nicht einfach einem schwachen Spieler von Tisch zu Tisch folgen. Stattdessen sollte man das Feld als Ganzes analysieren<\/a> und daraus strategische Schlüsse ziehen.<\/p>

Dabei steht eine zentrale Frage im Raum: Sollen wir gezielt nach schwachen Gegnern Ausschau halten – oder lieber starke Regulars meiden?<\/p>

Gerade bei Turnieren spricht meiner Meinung nach vieles für Letzteres.<\/p>

Leichtere Entscheidungen in der heißen Phase<\/h2>

In der Praxis bedeutet das, Plattformen zu meiden<\/a>, auf denen professionelle Stables die Felder dominieren. Auch Turniere in Ländern mit steuerfreiem Pokereinkommen sind nicht unbedingt ein Hinweis auf eine schwache Spielerschaft. Gut betuchte Spieler sollten zudem exklusive High-Stakes-Events wie die Triton-Tour<\/a> meiden.<\/p>

Es liegt in der Natur des Formats, dass sich das Feld immer weiter ausdünnt und sich die stärksten Spieler durchsetzen<\/strong>.<\/p>

Stellen wir uns das Main Event der World Series of Poker<\/a> vor: Zu Beginn sitzen an jedem Tisch vielleicht zwei versierte Regulars – der Rest besteht vermutlich eher aus Freizeitspielern.<\/p>

Doch spätestens ab Tag 5 kehrt sich das Bild um. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt dominieren erfahrene Regulars die Tische.<\/p>

Bei Turnieren werden die großen Preisgelder bekanntermaßen während der Endphase<\/strong> ausgespielt. Daher ist es ratsam, seine Gameselection darauf auszurichten, in dieser entscheidenden Phase bevorzugt auf durchschnittliche Regulars zu treffen – selbst wenn das Niveau in der frühen Turnierphase insgesamt etwas höher ausfallen mag.<\/p>

Wer starke Regulars meidet, geht den wirklich kniffligen Entscheidungen geschickt aus dem Weg – und zwar genau dann, wenn es um richtig viel Geld geht.<\/p>
