Die Sicherheitsl&uuml;cke, die dazu gef&uuml;hrt hat, dass die Accounts von einigen PokerStrategen gehackt wurden, ist geschlossen. <\/p><p>2. Die betroffenen Spieler werden zu 100% entsch&auml;digt und erhalten obendrauf 100 &euro; von Titan Poker als Dank f&uuml;r die Mithilfe bei der L&ouml;sung dieses Problems und als kleine Entsch&auml;digung f&uuml;r die stressige Situation.<\/p><p><b>Das Problem<\/b><br>\nVor etwa drei Wochen wurden wir durch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/de\/forum\/board.php?boardid=1511\">Titan Poker Forum<\/a> und auch durch Hinweise der betroffenen Mitglieder darauf aufmerksam, dass mehrere Titan-Poker-Accounts unserer Mitglieder gehackt wurden.<\/p><p>Account-Hacks sind insbesondere f&uuml;r die Betroffenen eine Katastrophe, weswegen unsere erste Ma&szlig;nahme in einem solchen Fall eine Eskalation dieser F&auml;lle an unsere Partner-Pokerr&auml;ume ist - in diesem Fall Titan Poker. Unser Ziel ist dabei zum einen, m&ouml;glichst schnell alle Register zu ziehen, den betroffenen Mitgliedern zu helfen. Oftmals ist es durch unser Eingreifen m&ouml;glich, wertvolle Stunden zu sparen. Dadurch konnten wir oft Geld f&uuml;r den Spieler retten, auch wenn das leider nicht immer rechtzeitig ist.<\/p><p><b>Die Ursachen f&uuml;r Account-Hacks<\/b><br>\nGerade anfangs ist oft &uuml;berhaupt nicht klar, welche Ursachen hinter einem Hack stecken. Von individuellen Fehlern des Spielers bis hin zu Sicherheitsl&uuml;cken der Anbieter ist in der Geschichte des Pokermarktes schon alles vorgekommen. Vor allem Viren, Malware und eine schlechte PC-Sicherheit sind aber immer wieder der Hauptgrund wieso es zu solchen erfolgreichen Angriffen &uuml;berhaupt kommen kann. <\/p><p>W&auml;hrend unserer Recherchen ist uns mit Hilfe eures regen Feedbacks klar geworden, dass sehr viele Spieler unvorsichtig mit ihren Passw&ouml;rtern sind. Folgende Prinzipien sollte man stets befolgen:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Eure Passw&ouml;rter sollten zuf&auml;llige Kombinationen aus Buchstaben und Zahlen sein und mindestens 8 Zeichen enthalten. Mindestens 1 Buchstabe sollte gro&szlig; geschrieben sein.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<li>F&uuml;r jede Pokerseite, Neteller, Moneybookers und alle Email-Accounts die damit in Verbindung stehen ein eigenes Passwort nutzen. Wem das zu viel Aufwand ist dem empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines professionellen Passwort-Tools, z.B. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keepass.info\">keepass.info<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Keines der Passw&ouml;rter, welches man f&uuml;r die o.g. Dinge nutzt, sollte noch irgendwo anders benutzt werden.<\/li>\n<li>Nutzung einer Anti-Spyware Software, z.B. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.safer-networking.org\/\">Spybot Seach and Destroy<\/a> und Nutzung eines Virenscanners, z.B. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.free-av.com\/\">Free-AV<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Stets euer Betriebssystem auf dem neusten Stand halten. <\/li>\n<\/ul><p>\n<b>Unser Umgang mit Account-Hacks<\/b><br>\nGerade f&uuml;r uns als automatisch Au&szlig;enstehende ist eine Beurteilung der Situation nahezu unm&ouml;glich und als ein Online-Medium mit gro&szlig;er Reichweite sehen wir uns der Wahrheit verpflichtet. Daher liegt unser Fokus zun&auml;chst auf Hilfe f&uuml;r die betroffenen Spieler sowie Recherche hinter den Kulissen. Wir eskalieren die F&auml;lle stets bei den Pokerseiten und versuchen so, eine schnelle Kl&auml;rung der Situation im Interesse unserer Spieler herbeizuf&uuml;hren.<\/p><p><b>Besonderheiten dieses Falls<\/b><br>\nTitan Poker ist - im Gegensatz beispielsweise zu PartyPoker - nicht gleichzeitig zust&auml;ndig f&uuml;r die Poker-Software. Als Skin auf dem Netzwerk iPoker ist Titan Poker gerade bei Fragen zu Sicherheitsl&uuml;cken in der Software auf die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Software-Provider Playtech angewiesen.&nbsp; Dadurch war die schnelle Aufkl&auml;rung und L&ouml;sung der Probleme eine besondere Herausforderung.&nbsp; Dass es innerhalb von ca. 3 Wochen zu einer vollst&auml;ndigen Kl&auml;rung zur Zufriedenheit der Betroffenen kommen konnte best&auml;tigt unsere Einsch&auml;tzung, dass das Titan Management diesen Fall mit h&ouml;chster Priorit&auml;t behandelt hat.<\/p><p>Hier ist noch einmal klar festzuhalten, dass f&uuml;r das Ausnutzen dieser Sicherheitsl&uuml;cke erst einmal der PC gehackt werden musste und dort der Eintritt ins System stattgefunden hat. <\/p><p><b>Die Stellungnahme von Titan Poker<\/b><br>\nHeute haben wir nun das Ergebnis der Bem&uuml;hungen unserer Kontaktpersonen und von Titan Poker erhalten: Ein Statement von Titan Poker zu den Umst&auml;nden und Hintergr&uuml;nden der Account-Hacks. Hauptursache ist im Endeffekt ein Softwarefehler im Pokerclient, der unerlaubten Zugriff auf Titan Poker Accounts erleichtert hat.<\/p><p>Betroffen waren im Endeffekt Spieler, welche die \"Remember My Password\"-Funktion benutzten - diese Information wurde an einer unsicheren Stelle auf dem Rechner des jeweiligen Spielers gespeichert und konnte so von Hackern, die sich Zugriff auf die Rechner der Betroffenen verschafften, ausgelesen werden. Allerdings musste zuerst der Rechner des Betroffenen gehackt werden, bevor &uuml;ber diese unsichere Stelle das Passwort gelangen konnte.<\/p><p><b>Das vollst&auml;ndige Statement von Titan Poker findet ihr hier:<\/b><\/p><blockquote><p>\n\tTITAN POKER, WITH THE HELP OF THE POKERSTRATEGY.COM FORUM, UPGRADES SOFTWARE SECURITY<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTitan Poker is pleased to announce, that with the help of the World's leading Poker Forum, PokerStrategy.com, a software security flaw has been located and fixed.\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\tNear the end of December, 2008, a small and very limited number of complaints reached Titan Poker regarding possible breaches of Titan Poker software security.  Players informed Titan Poker that their accounts had been accessed without their authorization.  Titan Poker was quick to take action, even though these complaints were limited, and the situation was investigated vigorously. Through this investigation, Playtech, Titan Poker's software provider, was able to locate and fix the flaw.  What Playtech identified was a breach in software security for players whose computers were accessed by unauthorized individuals.\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\tPlaytech suspects that these specific computers were jeopardized by a sort of malware or virus which enabled the unauthorized party access to the computer's different files and hardrive.\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAt this stage, once the computer's security was compromised, the software flaw allowed unauthorized access to Titan Poker account information.  Only players who elected to use the \"Remember My Password\" function were affected.  This <br>\n\tinformation was stored in an insecure location and could be manipulated.\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs of January 15th, 2009, the situation has been resolved due to Playtech and Titan Poker treating this situation with utmost seriousness.\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRegarding the affected players, Titan Poker is happy to guarantee that all compromised accounts will receive a refund and that no Titan player will suffer a monetary loss as a result of this incident.  Titan Poker has identified each and every one of the affected players.  All players identified through the investigation who were adversely affected will receive a refund. This refund will cover any monetary loss in their Titan Poker player account and will be completed by January 25th, 2009.
