Das Rennen um den World Series of Poker Player of the Year ist nun bis WSOP Paradise pausiert, doch der letzte Tag in Las Vegas war ein echter Krimi. <\/p>

Das lag daran, dass vier der der ersten Fünf vor dem letzten Tag alle unter den letzten 16 Spielern des $25.000 HORSE High Roller Events vertreten waren. <\/p>

In diesem Turnier belegte Josh Arieh Platz 13, Alex Foxen Platz 10, Shaun Deeb Platz 8 und Naoya Kihara<\/a> Platz drei. All das sorgte für erhebliche Verschiebungen im Leaderboard-Ranking. <\/p>

Foxen verliert die Spitze<\/h2>

Alex Foxen<\/a>, der den Großteil der WSOP auf dem Platz an der Sonne verbracht hat, fiel dadurch auf Platz drei zurück. <\/p>

Trotz seines besseren Ergebnisses als Deeb im letzten Event konnte Kihara die Spitzenposition nicht ganz übernehmen. Das bedeutet, dass Shaun Deeb<\/a> mit einem sehr knappen Vorsprung in WSOP Paradise geht. Er hat 3.410 Punkte gegenüber Kiharas 3.388 Punkten. <\/p>

Viele große Namen sind weiterhin im Rennen, darunter Daniel Negreanu, Jesse Lonis, Eelis Pärssin, Benny Glaser, Nick Schulman, Calvin Anderson und Michael Mizrachi. <\/p>

WSOP Paradise ist etwas stärker auf No Limit High Roller Turniere ausgerichtet als auf Mixed Games, daher sollte man Foxen keinesfalls abschreiben. Der Spielplan dafür wird tendenziell rund um den Start des WSOP Main Event Final Tables<\/a> bekannt gegeben, der Anfang August über die Bühne geht. <\/p>
