Emotionale Entscheidungen am Ende von Tag 1<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Eine Phase, in der die gravierendsten ICM-Fehler passieren, ist das Ende des ersten Tages eines mehrtägigen Turniers.<\/p>

Dabei treten vor allem zwei Fehler auf:<\/p>

Einige Spieler behandeln das Ende des ersten Tages wie eine Bubble. Sie spielen übertrieben vorsichtig und betreiben Zeitspiel, obwohl sie weit von den Geldrängen entfernt sind. Meiner Meinung nach spielt hier eine Art emotionales ICM eine große Rolle – die Spieler wollen ihr Tagespensum nicht noch im letzten Moment verspielen und sich die Anerkennung für das Erreichen des zweiten Tages sichern.<\/p>

Andere wiederum setzen alles auf eine Karte. Sie fürchten, mit einem Shortstack zurückkehren zu müssen und dadurch zusätzliche Reisekosten zu verursachen, obwohl ein frühes Ausscheiden ohnehin wahrscheinlich ist.<\/p>

Beide Ansätze sind kostspielige Fehler. Strategisch betrachtet unterscheidet sich die letzte Hand des ersten Turniertags nicht von der ersten Hand des zweiten Tages. Das größere Problem stellt jedoch übermäßig aggressives Spiel dar, da zu diesem Zeitpunkt meist noch ein Viertel des Feldes übrig ist und Shortstacks unter erheblichem ICM-Druck stehen.<\/p>

Dennoch gibt es nachvollziehbare Gründe, warum vorsichtiges Abwarten oder aggressives Spiel am Ende von Tag 1<\/a> sinnvoll sein kann.<\/p>

Wer erschöpft ist und nicht sein bestes Spiel zeigt, tut gut daran, weniger Hände zu spielen und am nächsten Tag ausgeruht zurückzukehren. Bei Hyper-Turbo-Flights<\/a> verläuft Tag 1 mit kurzen Blindlevels, sodass es strategisch sinnvoll sein kann, einen soliden Stack für den zweiten Tag aufzubauen.<\/p>

Auch eine Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse in Bezug auf Reise- und Hotelkosten kann sich lohnen: Wenn zusätzliche Ausgaben $200 betragen, der Stack jedoch nur einen ICM-Wert von $150 hat, kann ein riskanter Spielzug gerechtfertigt sein.<\/p>

Geld hat für jeden eine andere Bedeutung, wie insbesondere bei Final-Table-Deals deutlich wird. Ein Deal auf Kosten des Erwartungswertes kann in bestimmten Situationen durchaus die richtige Entscheidung sein. In den meisten Fällen ist es ein Fehler, am Ende des ersten Tages auf Zeit zu spielen oder riskante Spielzüge zu bringen – doch unter bestimmten Umständen kann dieses Vorgehen gerechtfertigt sein.<\/p>
