Mehr Gewinn und mehr Titel<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Viele Spieler vertreten die Ansicht, dass ein ICM-bewusster Ansatz zwar insgesamt profitabler ist, dafür aber seltener zum Turniersieg führt.<\/p>

ICM-orientierte Spieler kommen häufiger weit als diejenigen, die stets den Turniersieg anpeilen – und erzielen dabei über die Zeit höhere Gewinne.<\/p>

Zu Beginn meiner Poker-Karriere spezialisierte ich mich auf 6-Mann-SNGs mit zwei bezahlten Plätzen. Unter den Regulars entbrannte damals eine lebhafte Diskussion: Sollte man mit drei verbleibenden Spielern aggressiv spielen, um mehr Siege einzufahren, oder zunächst mit vornehmer Zurückhaltung den Mincash (zwei Buy-ins) abwarten?<\/p>

Wie so oft beim Poker gibt es keine eindeutige Antwort.<\/p>

Wenn die beiden anderen Spieler aggressiv auf Sieg spielen, lohnt es sich, geduldig zu bleiben. Du erreichst fast immer das Heads-up, zwar mit einem 2:1-Chipdefizit, doch dieser Spot ist durchschnittlich mehr als drei Buy-ins wert – deutlich besser als die theoretischen zwei Buy-ins, die dir als einer von drei gleich großen Stacks zustünden.<\/p>

Sind die Gegner dagegen sehr zurückhaltend, solltest du selbst die Initiative ergreifen.<\/p>

Zwar wirst du so häufiger ausscheiden, doch die gewonnenen Heads-up-Duelle gleichen diese Fälle mehr als aus.<\/p>

Schwierig wird es, wenn ein Spieler tight und der andere aggressiv spielt. In diesem Fall wirst du je nach eigener Strategie entweder von dem aggressiven oder vom konservativen Spieler exploitet.<\/p>

ICM-bewusst zu spielen bedeutet nicht, dass man weniger Chips anhäuft<\/a> – ganz im Gegenteil.<\/p>

Es geht vielmehr um die Fähigkeit, sich jederzeit flexibel anzupassen, um die optimale Spielweise<\/a> zu bestimmen.<\/p>
