Der Limp-Stab ist eine einfache, aber äußerst effektive Strategie für das Spiel Small Blind gegen Big Blind.<\/p>

Das Prinzip ist schnell erklärt: Aus dem Small Blind wird nur gelimpt und wenn der Big Blind ebenfalls checkt, folgt auf dem Flop nahezu immer eine kleine Bet in Höhe von einem Big Blind.<\/p>

Der Grund, warum das funktioniert: Der Big Blind hält selten starke Hände, da er diese in der Regel preflop geraist hätte. Gleichzeitig verfehlen Spieler den Flop in den meisten Fällen. Ein kleiner Einsatz reicht also oft, um den Pot direkt mitzunehmen.<\/p>

Hinzu kommt ein psychologischer Faktor: Hände aus den Blinds werden nicht freiwillig gespielt. Ohne eigene Initiative fehlt häufig die Bindung zum Pot, sodass Spieler deutlich schneller aufgeben als in Spots, in denen sie selbst eröffnet haben.<\/p>

Die \"Default Strategie\"<\/h2>

Doch wie sieht das Ganze aus Sicht eines Solvers aus?<\/p>

Im folgenden Beispiel spielen beide Spieler mit 50 Big Blinds. Der Small Blind limpt, der Big Blind checkt und der Flop kommt Q62 rainbow.<\/p>

Links ist die Strategie des Small Blinds zu sehen (Grün = Check, Rot = kleine Bet), rechts die Reaktion des Big Blinds (Grün = Call, Rot = Raise, Blau = Fold):<\/p>

Der Solver setzt den Limp-Stab hier überraschend selten ein: Nur in etwa 31% der Fälle. Der Grund: Der Big Blind soll sehr weit verteidigen und callt sogar mit Händen wie Ace High oder King High.<\/p>

Doch was passiert, wenn man eine kleine Anpassung vornimmt? Angenommen, der Big Blind foldet King High - ein Verhalten, das in der Praxis häufig vorkommt. Ace High bleibt weiterhin in der Calling Range.<\/p>

Schon diese minimale Veränderung reicht aus: Der Small Blind setzt nun in 100% der Fälle.<\/p>
