\nPokerStrategy: <\/b>Hi Umumba, erzähl doch bitte erstmal etwas zu deiner Person.\n<\/p>

Umumba:<\/b> Ich bin 24 Jahre alt, studiere in Bremen Mathematik und schreibe derzeit an meiner Diplomarbeit (falls ich nicht grad das Leben genieße oder pokere, was natürlich nur in äußerst kurzen Unterbrechungen mal vorkommt...). Was meine Hobbies angeht, lese ich gern mal ein gutes Buch und spiele nicht nur am Pokertisch gerne, sondern auch alle möglichen anderen Spiele, speziell Schach, das ich auch ernsthaft als Sport betreibe.\n<\/p>
\n
\nPokerStrategy: <\/b>Du wirst ab dieser Woche das Platin-Coaching übernehmen, wirst also selber ein erfahrener Mid Stakes-Spieler sein. Wie verlief deine Pokerkarriere denn bisher?\n<\/p>
\n Umumba:<\/b> Ich habe denke ich eine recht gewöhnliche PokerStrategy-Laufbahn hinter mir, mit dem Unterschied, dass ich nicht wie viele über die eSports-Schiene darauf aufmerksam geworden bin, sondern über die Schachszene, in der das Pokern - wohl dank Matthias Wahls und der Affinität zum strategischen Denken - so seit zwei bis drei Jahren immer ein beliebtes Thema ist. Zusammen mit einem Freund (schönen Gruß an maggimaster) habe ich dann angefangen, mit den 50$ Startkapital zu spielen. Die Micros schlug ich zwar recht schnell, aber oberhalb von 2\/4 ging es dann einige Zeit nicht so recht weiter - während besagter Freund schon nicht ganz unberechtigte Shots auf 10\/20 unternahm (mittlerweile hat er leider einen ganz üblen Downswing). Ende 2006 bin ich mit nicht viel Motivation von zwischenzeitlich 5\/10 wieder auf 1\/2 abgestürzt...\n<\/p>
\n
\nPokerStrategy: <\/b>Doch seitdem gast du dich wieder gut gefangen und es ging bergauf. Was spielst du inzwischen?\n<\/p>
\n Umumba:<\/b> Seit ungefähr einem Jahr bin ich jetzt auf den Midlimits zu Hause, habe lange auf 10\/20 und 15\/30 gespielt, bis dann beim x-ten Versuch auch endlich der Aufstieg auf 20\/40 klappte (ich bevorzuge ein recht tightes 1000 BB-BRM). Mittlerweile spiele ich je nach Tischlage 30\/60 bis runter auf 15\/30 und wage bei extremen Fischen auch schon mal einen Shot auf 50\/100.<\/p>
PokerStrategy: <\/b>Und nebenbei wurdest du jetzt auch zum Coach. Wie kam es dazu?\n<\/p>
\n Umumba:<\/b> Ende Februar gab es eine News-Meldung, in der ein neuer Platin-Coach gesucht wurde, und da ich das Gefühl hatte, dass ich die Voraussetzungen erfüllen könnte, hab ich mich einfach mal beworben. An dieser Stelle auch nochmal danke an meine Freundin, die ebenfalls PS-lerin ist und mich darin unterstützt hat. Im Anschluss daran musste ich dann ein kleines Probecoaching absolvieren, das die Verantwortlichen anscheinend gut genug fanden...\n<\/p>
\nPokerStrategy: <\/b>Was denkst du, qualifiziert dich als Coach und was möchtest du deiner Zielgruppe vor allem beibringen?\n<\/p>
\n Umumba:<\/b> Ich kann selbst natürlich schlecht beurteilen, ob ich gut erklären kann etc., aber ich hoffe doch, dass ich meine Thoughts ganz gut erläutern kann, was ich auch durch gegenseitiges Obsen mit einigen anderen Diamonds üben konnte. Außerdem hat mich OnkelHotte in einem Video (in dem er u.a. gegen mich spielte) neulich als \"sehr guten Spieler\" tituliert - das ist ja fast schon ein Ritterschlag! \ud83d\ude09
\nAls Aufgabe eines Platin-FL-Coaches sehe ich es vor allem an, die Spieler, die die Low Limits geschlagen haben, an die aggressivere Spielweise auf den Mid Limits heranzuführen. Da ist denke ich beim Sprung auf 5\/10 und nochmal auf 10\/20 schon ein deutlicher Anstieg der Aggressivität heranzuführen, was zu einigen Umstellungen im Spiel zwingt (zum Beispiel in puncto Blinddefense oder Calldowns). Ansonsten wird sich sicherlich in den Coachings herausstellen, an welchen Themen noch verstärktes Interesse besteht.\n<\/p>
