\nWährend Tag 1 des £20.000 High Roller Events der EPT London noch ganz im Zeichen von Ilari 'Ziigmund' Sahamies stand und der finnische Youngster trotz mehrstündiger Verspätung nahezu mühelos den Chiplead erspielte, erlebte Sahamies gestern eine wahre Achterbahnfahrt. <\/p>

Das wichtigste am Ende war jedoch: der Highstakes-Pro ist heute am Final Table dabei, auch wenn er mit 311.000 Chips zu den Shortstacks zu zählen ist. Genau wie der letztjährige November Nine Dennis Phillips, der trotz aller Unkenrufe erstaunlich konstant bei den großen Events abräumt. Heute startet er jedoch mit gerade einmal 218.500 Chips und damit mit dem kleinsten Stack ins Finale.<\/p>

Ganz am anderen Ende des Chipcounts liegt der Gewinner von Event #2 der WSOPE<\/a>, Erik Cajelais, mit 893.500 Chips vor dem US-Amerikaner Eugene Katchalov mit 530.000. Den Sieger erwarten £542.000 bei einem Preispool von £1.500.000. Jeder der verbliebenen Spieler hat £45.000 sicher.<\/p>

Minieri, Coren und Feldman an den Rails<\/h2>

Bubbleboy wurde der Ire Shane Reihill, der damit leer ausging. Außerdem erwischte es gestern unter anderen Dario Minieri, der von Cajelais eliminiert wurde. Minieri raiste mit A-Q auf 17.000, Cajelais machte 50.000 daraus, Minieri shovte für noch mal 30.000 mehr all-in und sah sich A-K bei Cajelais gegenüber. Das Board half Minieri nicht, er musste an die Rails. <\/p>

Dort fand sich gestern übrigens auch Thor Hansen, früher als ihm lieb sein konnte, wieder. Mit Spielern wie Vicky Coren und Andrew Feldman befand er sich dort aber in bester Gesellschaft. <\/p>
