Die EPT London 2009 war das bis dato größte Pokerturnier Britanniens. 104 Spieler konnten sich über einen Cash freuen, darunter auch PokerNoob<\/b><\/a> (Platz 11) und Allanon<\/a><\/b> (Platz 45) vom Team PokerStrategy.com<\/a><\/b>. Communitymitglied psychobenny wurde Zwölfter.<\/p>

Gestern ging es für die finalen acht Spieler um die Siegprämie von £850.000. In einem zügigen Final Table setzte sich der US-Amerikaner Aaron Gustavson im Heads-up gegen WSOP-Champ Peter Eastgate durch. Dritter wurde der Deutsche Nikolai Senninger.<\/p>

Senninger Dritter, Gustavson schlägt Eastgate<\/h2>

Dabei profitierte Nikolai von zwei Double-ups gegen den Norweger Martin Gudvangen. Zunächst gewann der Deutsche gegen ihn mit A-8 vs. T-6 und daraufhin noch einmal mit Q-Q vs. Q-J. Am Ende war es auch Nikolai, der Gudvangen mit A-Q vs. A-3 eliminierte. Für Platz 4 erhielt der Norweger £227.000.<\/p>

\"Aaron<\/a>Über Platz 3 sollte Senninger dennoch nicht hinauskommen. Beim Board 3-7-Q-9 callte der Deutsche nach intensivem Überlegen das All-in des US-Amerikaners Aaron Gustavson. Letzterer hatte mit Q-T das Toppair getroffen, Nikolai hielt Pocket-Achten, der River war eine Zehn und Senninger war ausgeschieden.<\/p>

Das Heads-up begann mit einem 2:1 Chiplead für Gustavson. Der zögerte auch nicht lange und ließ dem derzeit noch amtierenden WSOP-Champ Peter Eastgate gar nicht erst die Möglichkeit zur Gegenwehr. In der finalen Hand ging Eastgate nach Raise und Reraise mit A-9 suited all-in. Gustavson callte mit A-Q, beide verfehlten das Board und der Sieger der diesjährigen EPT London stand fest. Für Platz 1 erhielt Aaron Gustavson £850.000, umgerechnet über $1,3 Millionen.<\/p>
