Mit insgesamt 586 angemeldeten Spielern wurde die PokerStars.com<\/a> European Poker Tour in Prag das bisher höchstdotierte Pokerturnier auf tschechischem Boden. Das Buy-in von €5.500 für jeden Spieler brachte einen Preispool von €2.842.100 zustande. <\/p>

Der heimische Favorit Jan Skampa ging als Sieger hervor, nachdem er ein multinationales Spielerfeld am Final Table schlagen konnte. Zwei Schweden und jeweils ein Repräsentant aus der Tschechischen Republik, Israel, Italien, Deutschland, Frankreich und Irland waren zugegen. Er konnte sich über eine Siegprämie von  €682.000 freuen.<\/p>

Drei PokerStrategen erreichen das Geld
\n<\/h2>

Drei der 80 Spieler, die das Minimal-Payout von €8.000 erreichten, waren PokerStrategen. Team PokerStrategy.com<\/a>-Mitglied Daniel \"Allanon85<\/span><\/a>\" Drescher erreichte Platz 39 and gewann €11.300, während Florian \"fa_morgoth<\/span>\" Langmann 46. wurde und damit €10.300 einstrich. Bastian \"statistican\" Trachte war der PokerStratege, der am weitesten kam.<\/p>

Statistican war einziger PokerStratege, der Tag 3 zwar überlebte, jedoch zu den Unglücklichen gehörte, die früh am Tag ausschieden. Er wurde auf den 23. Platz verwiesen und verdiente €15.500. Die anderen teilnehmenden Team PokerStrategy.com-Mitglieder, waren Tim \"Nazgul<\/a>\" Kahlmeyer, der zum unglückseligen Bubbleboy wurde, Simon \"<\/span><\/a>ScHnibL0r<\/a>\" Münz und Konstantin \"Bongbob<\/a>\" Bücherl, der damit im Team seinen Einstand gab.<\/p>

Skampa, der Gewinner dieses Events, erreichte den Final Table als leichter Chipleader und es gelang ihm, die Führung bis ganz zum Ende aufrecht zu erhalten. Er eliminierte Eyal Avitan aus Israel nach einem langen, dreistündigen Heads-up-Duell. Mit seinem Sieg wurde Skampa der bislang erste Spieler aus der Tschechischen Republik, dem es vergönnt war, ein EPT-Event zu gewinnen. Tatsächlich hat keiner seiner Landsmannen überhaupt je einen EPT-Final Table erreicht.<\/p>
