645 Teilnehmer konnten die Verantwortlichen der PokerStars.com<\/a> European Poker Tour letztes Jahr in Deauville verzeichnen und damit einen neuen Teilnehmerrekord feiern. Bereits ein Jahr später ist dieser Rekord wieder Geschichte: Nachdem sich am Mittwoch, dem ersten Starttag des diesjährigen Turniers, noch 339 Spieler an die Tische begaben, fanden an Tag 1B 429 Spieler einen Platz und sorgten so für ein unglaubliches Feld von 768 Spielern.<\/p>

\nNachdem Tag 1A hauptsächlich französische Spieler in Angriff genommen hatten, fand man gerade am zweiten Starttag einige Pros an den Tischen wieder. So ließen sich unter anderem Dario Minieri, Greg Raymer, Alex Kravchenko, Bertrand \"Elky<\/i>\" Grospellier, Peter Eastgate oder auch Luca Pagano blicken. Letztgenannter erwischte einen exzellenten Start in das Turnier und konnte bereits im ersten Blindlevel beinahe verdoppeln. Am Ende des Tages hatte er einen immensen Stack von 193.100 und damit die meisten Chips der in Tag 1B in das Rennen gestarteten Spieler vorzuweisen.\n<\/div>
\n\n<\/div>
\nGesamtführender im Ranking ist jedoch Robert Cezarescu. Mit 216.900 Chips hatte er Tag 1A beendet und Vladimir beyne Geshkenbein auf Platz 2 verwiesen. Mit Bertrand Grospellier und Freddy Deeb befinden sich darüber hinaus zwei weitere bekannte Spieler in den Top 10 des Chipcounts.\n<\/div>
