Phil Laak schrieb am Montag Pokergeschichte, nachdem er seine 115 Stunden andauernde Pokersession beendete. Wie wir zuvor berichteten<\/a>, war es Laaks eigentliches Ziel, über 80 Stunden durchzuhalten. Dies hat er um weitere 35 Stunden übertroffen.<\/p>

Auf seine Leistung angesprochen, äußerte Laak sich wie folgt: \"[...]one of the most wonderful journeys I've ever taken. It's touchingly human and beautiful on so many levels[...]I have never had more fun playing poker in my entire life.\"<\/p>

Er beendete seine Pokersession mit einem Gewinn von $6.766, die er der Camp Sunshine Charity Organisation spenden wird.<\/p>

Während der 115 Stunden spielte Laak $10\/$20 im Bellagio Hotel und Casino in Las Vegas. Viele bekannte Namen statteten ihm dabei einen Besuch am Tisch ab, darunter Scotty Nguyen, Antionio Esfandiari oder Andrew Robl.<\/p>

Die vorherige Bestmarke wurde von Paul Zimbler aufgestellt, der im letzten September non-stop 78 Stunden und 25 Minuten lang Poker spielte.<\/p>
