\"chenny8888\"Als sich die Team PokerStrategy.com<\/a>-Mitglieder immer noch eine Auszeit gönnten, war PokerStrategy.com-Coach chenny8888 (Bild rechts) auf dem Weg zu seinem ersten WSOP-Cash. Der kürzlich gekrönte Champion der New Zealand Poker Open<\/a> kam in Event #42, $1.500 No-Limit Hold'em, auf Platz 80 von ursprünglich 2.521 Startern.<\/p>

chenny8888 schafft ersten WSOP-Cash<\/h2>

chenny8888 ging mit großen Erwartungen in Tag 2 seines Events, den er mit dem Chiplead beginnen konnte. Unglücklicherweise musste er noch an Tag 2 an die Rails und gewann für sein erstmaliges Erreichen der Geldränge bei der WSOP $5.751.<\/p>

Der Tag begann sehr vielversprechend: Er konnte immer wieder Chips einsammeln und so in der ersten Hälfte des zweiten Tages unter den Chipleadern bleiben. Leider verlor er dann einen Großteil seines Stacks gegen die Quads eines Gegners, mit dem er bereits History gesammelt hatte. Kurz darauf schied er endgültig aus dem Turnier aus.<\/p>

Hellmuth muss auf sein zwölftes Bracelet warten<\/h2>

Die meiste Aufmerksamkeit der Railbirds bekam an diesem Tag Phil Hellmuth, der im $1.500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi\/Lo Event sein zwölftes Bracelet zu gewinnen versuchte. Hellmuth schaffte es bis an den Final Table, verfehlte sein Ziel aber und musste als Achter an die Rails.<\/p>

Steve Jelinek war am Ende derjenige, der in Hellmuths Event triumphierte und zusammen mit seinem ersten Bracelet $245.871 gewann. Währenddessen sind Todd Brunson, Brian Townsend und Scotty Nguyen noch unter den etwa zwei Dutzend Spielern, die noch bei der $10.000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship im Rennen sind.<\/p>

Das war das zweite Mal, dass Phil Hellmuth (Bild links) bei der WSOP 2010 in einem Turnier weit kam. Dennoch scheiterte er erneut – er war der zweite Spieler am Final Table, der ausschied. So musste er sich mit dem achten Platz und $23.635 zufrieden geben.<\/p>

Hellmuth ging mit dem viertgrößten Stack in den letzten Tag, war aber, als es an den Final Table ging, unter den Shortstacks. Er gewann zwar einige All-ins und blieb im Rennen, wurde dann aber vom letztendlich Zweitplatzierten, John Gottlieb, an die Rails geschickt.<\/p>
