<\/strong>\"BongBob\"27 vergangene und aktuelle WSOP-Sieger haben sich im Rio in Las Vegas versammelt, um den besten Spieler aus ihrer Mitte zu ermitteln und den Titel \"Champion der Champions\" zu vergeben. Am Beginn des Tages standen drei Tische, gefüllt mit den prominentesten Namen der Poker-Szene, bereit. Nach vier Blindlevel à 60 Minuten befinden sich nur noch 22 Spieler im Turnier.<\/p>

BongBob erreicht Tag 2 in Event #47<\/h2>

Während die Aufmerksamkeit in erster Linie dem Tournament of Champions galt, wurde auch Tag 1B des $1.000 No-Limit Hold'em-Turniers ausgespielt. Dabei kamen - inklusive Tag 1A - 3.128 Spieler zusammen und generierten einen Preispool in Höhe von $2.815.200. Team PokerStrategy.com<\/a>-Mitglied \"Admin\"<\/strong>BongBob<\/strong> (Bild rechts), der an Tag 1A in das Turnier eingestiegen war, ist unter denjenigen Spielern, die es in Tag 2 geschafft haben.<\/p>

Sollte er das Turnier siegreich beenden, so könnte er sich über ein Preisgeld in Höhe von $485.791 freuen. Über zwei Drittel der verbliebenen Teilnehmer werden an Tag 2 einen der 324 Preisgeldplätze erreichen. Nachdem \"Admin\"<\/strong>BongBob <\/strong>in der vergangenen Woche $214k für Platz 4 erhielt<\/a>, steht er nun vor seiner dritten Preisgeldplatzierung bei der diesjährigen WSOP.<\/p>

\"PhilJesus schickt Ivey an die Rails<\/h2>

Fünf Braceletgewinner, die insgesamt 18 WSOP und WSOPE-Events gewonnen haben, wurden an Tag 1 aus dem Turnier eliminiert. John Juanda war der erste, der an die Rails musste. Er verlor gegen Jennifer Harman. Ihm folgten Greg Raymer, Barry Shulman, Sammy Farha und Phil Ivey (Bild links).<\/p>

Chris \"Jesus\" Ferguson war es vergönnt, Phil Ivey aus dem Turnier zu werfen, als beide Spieler Preflop All-in gingen. Iveys K-K <\/strong>domierte die Q-Q <\/strong>von Ferguson, der eine weitere Dame benötigte, um aufzudoppeln. Der Flop brachte mit 6 3 T <\/strong>zunächst keine Hilfe. Am Turn zeigte sich dann jedoch die Q zu Fergusons Gunsten. Da der River Ivey keine Hilfe brachte, gewann Chris \"Jesus\" Ferguson die Hand und schickte Ivey an die Rails.<\/p>

Guter Tag für Erik Seidel<\/h2>

Erik Seidel ging als Chipleader aus Tag 1 hervor, knapp vor Johnny Chan. Seidel hält 72.075 Chips und konnte damit seinen Startstack mehr als verdoppeln. Johnny Chan liegt jedoch lediglich 750 Chips hinter ihm auf Platz 2 in Lauerstellung. Auch Mike Matusow weist keinen allzu großen Rückstand auf und komplettiert dieTop 3 des Chipcounts.<\/p>

Nach vier Blindlevel an Tag 1 im Tournament of Champions setzte Seidel seinen guten Lauf im $5.000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi\/Lo Event fort. Ihm gelang es, den Final Table zu erreichen. Dort gelang ihm zwar nicht der ganz große Wurf, als Trostpreis für seinen fünften Platz erhält er aber immerhin $85.800.<\/p>
