Bei der World Series of Poker 2009 gelang es Jeff Lisandro herausragende drei Bracelet in Stud-Turnieren zu gewinnen, die ihm den Titel WSOP Spieler des Jahres einbrachten und seinen Ruf als Stud-Experten untermauerten. Bereits im Jahr 2007 hatte er ein WSOP Stud-Event für sich entscheiden können.<\/p>

Bei der diesjährigen WSOP ging er in Las Vegas leer aus, konnte sich aber gestern in London eindrucksvoll zurückmelden. Mit dem Sieg im £5.250 Pot Limit Omaha-Event #2 sicherte er sich sein erstes WSOP-Bracelet in einer anderen Spielart. Team PokerStrategy.com-Spieler \"Admin\"Nazgul<\/a> nahm ebenfalls an diesem Turnier teil, wurde aber bereits an Tag 1 an die Rails geschickt.<\/p>

Lisandros Erfahrung setzt sich durch<\/h2>

Neben Lisandro war mit Jeff Madsen noch ein weiterer \"WSOP Player of the Year\" am Final Table - Madsen erhielt die Auszeichnung im Jahr 2006. Dazu gesellten sich der britische Profi Willie Tann, die schwedische Legende Chris Bjorin und Full Tilt Red-Pro John Racener. Tann schied auf Platz Drei aus und gab somit den Weg für den Kampf der Generationen zwischen Lisandro und Joe Serock frei. <\/p>

Serock ging mit einem 2,5 zu 1-Chipleader in das Heads-up, den Lisandro aber relativ schnell zu seinen Gunsten drehen konnte. In der finalen Hand, setzte Lisandro seinen Kontrahenten preflop mit \"As\"\"Qs\"\"6s\"\"2c\" All-in. Serocks \"Ks\"\"7s\"\"5h\"\"6h\" waren auf dem \"9s\"\"Jh\"\"8d\"\"2d\"\"Js\" Board nicht gut genug, um Lisandros fünften WSOP-Sieg zu verhindern.<\/p>

Nazgul und Thorsten77 starten morgen in Event #3<\/h2>

Morgen, an Tag 1C werden auch die Team PokerStrategy.com-Spieler \"Admin\"Thorsten77<\/a> und \"Admin\"Nazgul<\/a> in das Geschehen des dritten WSOPE-Events eingreifen. Bislang haben bereits über 400 Spieler die £1.075 Buy-in im No-Limit Hold'em-Turnier erbracht. Weitere 200 Spieler werden morgen am letzten Opening Day erwartet.<\/p>

An Tag 1B konnte sich der Wesley Pantling aus Kanada an die Spitze des Chipcounts setzen. Andrew \"luckychewy\" Lichtenberger konnte mit Platz 3 ebenfalls ein Ausrufezeichen setzen. Lediglich 27 Spieler konnten sich erfolgreich behaupten und einen Platz in Tag 2 sichern, sie gesellen sich zu den 28 Spielern, die Tag 1A überstanden. Zu den großen Namen, die an Tag 1B an die Rails geschickt wurden, gehören unter anderem Tom \"durrrr\" Dwan, Liv Boeree, Huck Seed, Phil Hellmuth und Phil Ivey.<\/p>
