Al jugador simulado se le llama <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/es\/glossary\/Pokerbot\/\" class=\"glosslink\">pokerbot<\/a><\/i> o <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/es\/glossary\/Bot\/\" class=\"glosslink\">bot<\/a><\/i>. El programa puede jugar una o m&aacute;s mesas a la vez y toma decisiones basadas en los algoritmos programados en el c&oacute;digo.<\/p><h2> Usos<\/h2><p>El uso principal para este tipo de software es el de programas de entrenamiento y para jugar <i>online<\/i>, donde los <i>bots<\/i> juegan contra gente real. La mayor&iacute;a de plataformas y jugadores de p&oacute;quer consideran este &uacute;ltimo uso fraudulento, y los operadores de las plataformas toman medidas para erradicar su uso. Hay un n&uacute;mero importante de programadores trabajando en <i>bots<\/i>, principalmente por inter&eacute;s cient&iacute;fico o t&eacute;cnico. Tambi&eacute;n trabajan en otros juegos como el <i>backgammon<\/i> y ajedrez, enfrentando sus programas a humanos. Tambi&eacute;n hay programadores cuyo objetivo es hacer dinero gracias a los <i>bots<\/i>.<\/p><h2> Estado del arte<\/h2><p>Como es dif&iacute;cil hablar de ellos sin conocimientos especializados, hay mucha leyenda y controversia sobre el estado del arte de los <i>bots<\/i>. Lo que es seguro es que podr&iacute;a haber <i>bots<\/i> rentables en los l&iacute;mites m&aacute;s bajos de torneos y partidas por dinero de <i>Hold'em<\/i> con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/es\/strategy\/fixed-limit\/\" class=\"glosslink\">l&iacute;mite fijo<\/a> y sin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/es\/strategy\/fixed-limit\/\" class=\"glosslink\">l&iacute;mite<\/a>. Esto es posible porque los jugadores en esos niveles no son demasiado buenos.
