\nHola a todos, me llamo Gustavo y soy de origen peruano. Mi padre es
\nperuano y mi madre argentina. Vine de chico a vivir en Buenos Aires,
\nsoy Licenciado en Economía y trabajo en el Área de Propiedad
\nIntelectual en el Ministerio de Economía.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: ¿Y cuáles son tus aficiones? Además del poker, claro.<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel:
\nMi hobby favorito es jugar al ajedrez. Soy jugador de primera categoría
\nacá en Buenos Aires. Bueno, lo era hasta hace 2 años o sea, hasta que
\ndescubrí el poker jugar al ajedrez era mi entretenimiento favorito.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Oh, otro buen jugador proveniente del ajedrez. ¿Y con el poker cómo comenzaste?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Como todos, viendo los programas de la ESPN transmitiendo las WSOP.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: ¿Comenzaste a jugar poker online o en vivo?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel:
\nComencé a jugar torneos on line en 2007, sin estudiar nada por
\nsupuesto... y por supuesto perdía jajaja. Entonces me dije: \"este hobby me va a costar como top $100 al mes\"<\/i>,
\nasí que todos los meses cuando llegaba a los $100 de pérdida paraba de
\njugar y le daba al ajedrez, y el día 1 del mes siguiente de vuelta al
\npoker. Y en octubre de 2007 descubro PokerStrategy.com.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Ah, invertiste un dinero antes de PokerStrategy.com.<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Si, claro. No conocía este sitio...<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: ¿Y una vez que llegaste a PS comenzaste con torneos también?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Bueno, como perdía todos los meses me dije \"hombre, definitivamente esto no tiene nada que ver con la suerte\"<\/i>,
\ny entonces empecé a buscar artículos por internet y simultáneamente me
\ncompré mi primer libro de poker y descubrí PokerStrategy.com. Así que
\nmezclaba torneos con SSS. A jugar torneos aprendía del libro, y SSS con
\nPokerStrategy.com. A partir de ahí nunca más tuve que poner un centavo
\nde mi bolsillo jeje. Aprendí lo de la gestión de bankroll, estrategias y
\ndemás.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: ¿Cuál o cuáles crees que fueron los recursos ofrecidos por PokerStrategy.com que más te ayudaron?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Al principio leía los artículos<\/a> y miraba vídeos<\/a>, pero el gran salto lo tuve a partir de empezar a postear y comentar manos, mi nivel de juego subió mucho con esa herramienta.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Sí, es mi preferida también...<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Definitivamente es lo mejor.
\nBueno, y de ahí pasé a desempeñarme como productor de vídeos primero, y
\nahora entrenador. <\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Vaya carrera estás haciendo. ¿Cómo te sientes con este último desafío?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Súper feliz, hasta ahora
\ninteractuaba con los compañeros que recién se iniciaban en la SSS a
\ntravés del foro de evaluación<\/a>,
\npero ahora voy a poder interactuar con ellos en vivo y en directo. Un
\ndesafío importante pero que me reconforta internamente. Incluso puse mi
\nMSN en mi firma y siempre hay algún compañero que recién se inicia que
\nme hace preguntas y yo encantado de ayudarlos.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Jajaja, pues qué bien que estés encantado porque ahora vas a tener a muchos más después de esta entrevista.<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Jajajajajaja. Ahora recibiré consultas todos los días.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Volviendo a tus pasos en el poker, ¿qué objetivos te has estado planteando para el futuro?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Si bien por ahora es sólo un
\n\"hobby rentable\", mi objetivo es dedicarle cada día más tiempo, tanto
\nen la escuela como jugando, y en unos años convertirla en mi principal
\nfuente de ingresos. Con esfuerzo, dedicación y una dosis de suerte, en
\nunos años más espero que sea mi única fuente de ingresos. Mi sueño es
\nviajar con mi laptop por el mundo, trabajando en esto y conociendo
\ngente y lugares nuevos.<\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Hace poco pensé en algo similar, pero como una fantasía ya que con mujer y niña es imposible.<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Claro, lo que pasa es que vos
\nestás en el principio, pero yo ya tengo hijos grandes. El menor tiene
\n12, entonces en unos años ya podría hacerlo. Tengo uno de 22, otro de
\n18 y otro de 15. Yo imagino a mi mujer cuidando a los nietos y yo
\nviajando por ahí, viviendo 2 ó 3 meses en cada lugar. <\/p>\n

PokerStrategy.com<\/b>: Bonitos sueños. Bueno, ¿quieres compartir algún consejo o experiencia con otros usuarios que recién comienzan?<\/p>\n

gustavomiguel: Pues lo de siempre: que lean la estrategia<\/a>, miren vídeos<\/a>, asistan a los entrenos<\/a>, posteen y comenten manos en el foro<\/a>
\ny estudien si quieren progresar pero, lo más importante para mí, que
\nnunca olviden la principal regla de un buen jugador de poker: ¡nunca
\njueguen fuera de bankroll!<\/p>\n
