\nComenzó la V temporada del Campeonato de España de Poker (CEP) con un
\nevento en el Casino Castell de Peralada. Este es uno de los principales
\ncircuitos de torneos en vivo en España y, con un buy in de €600
\n+ €60, el inicio no pudo ser mejor. Hubo un total de 369 jugadores
\npagando la inscripción para este evento, estableciendo un record por la
\nmayor participación en la historia de este circuito.\n

Esta es una de las paradas más atractivas del CEP, y estuvo en el
\ncalendario desde la primera temporada. Cercano a la frontera con
\nFrancia, este evento recibe habitualmente a una buena cantidad de
\njugadores de ese país, añadiendo un ingrediente extra que, junto al
\nimponente marco otorgado por el castillo en el que se encuentra
\nemplazado el casino, la excelente estructura del torneo y otros
\nservicios adicionales, hacen de este evento uno de los más atractivos
\nen España.<\/p>\n

Los cambios implementados para esta temporada, cuyo detalle presentamos
\nen un artículo reciente<\/a>, parecen haber contribuido a mejorar aún más la
\nconvocatoria, y todo ello se sumó para propiciar un fin de semana de
\nexcelente poker en esta sede ubicada al norte de Cataluña.<\/p>\n

Tras dos días de juego, se llegó al definitorio tercer día de acción,
\ncon la disputa de la mesa final. En esa instancia, fue el argelino René
\nMarciano quien logró imponerse al resto, reclamando el primer puesto y
\nlos correspondientes €53.600. Además de ganar el torneo, Marciano
\nobtuvo el título de matador, con 26 eliminaciones en su cuenta. El
\nrunner up fue el jugador de Barcelona Javier Piazuelo, quien se llevó
\nun premio de €26.800, y en tercer lugar quedó el francés Loic Lozano,
\nrecompensado con un cheque de €13.600.<\/p>\n

La próxima etapa tendrá lugar en Barcelona entre los días 5 y 7 de
