El torneo de $2.700 de buy in cont&oacute; con la participaci&oacute;n de 384 jugadores de 33 pa&iacute;ses diferentes, cifra cercana al r&eacute;cord hist&oacute;rico de 398 participantes, establecido en San Jos&eacute; de Costa Rica durante la temporada inaugural.<\/p><p> Entre los jugadores m&aacute;s conocidos que se presentaron en Lima, podemos destacar a &Aacute;ngel Guillen, Leo Fern&aacute;ndez, Andr&eacute; Akkari, Dennis Phillips, Ver&oacute;nica Dabul, Greg Debora, Maria \"<i>Maridu<\/i>\" Mayrinck, Christian de Le&oacute;n, Gualter Salles y Alex Gomes entre otros.<\/p><p> Despu&eacute;s de los primeros d&iacute;as de competencia, la mesa final quedaba conformada con el siguiente detalle de asientos y stacks:<\/p><ul>\n<li> Asiento 1: Erick Cabrera (Per&uacute;) - 1.426.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li>Asiento 2: Ismael C&aacute;diz (Chile) - 1.125.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li> Asiento 3: Ben Barrows (Estados Unidos) - 1.154.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li> Asiento 4: Silvio Martins (Brasil) - 594.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li> Asiento 5: Valerio Valera (Venezuela) - 236.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li> Asiento 6: Ren&eacute; Aguiar (Chile) - 691.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li> Asiento 7: Jos&eacute; \"Nacho\" Barbero (Argentina) - 1.817.000 fichas<\/li>\n<li> Asiento 8: Carlos Herrera (Colombia) - 434.000 fichas<\/li>\n<\/ul><p> El shortstack Valerio Valera fue el primero en caer, y lo seguir&iacute;an Carlos Herrera, Ren&eacute; Aguiar y Silvio Martins. El push lo hab&iacute;a hecho Cabrera tras una apuesta de Barbero, quien se quit&oacute; del medio. Las dobles parejas de C&aacute;diz deb&iacute;an sobrevivir frente al A-Q de Cabrera con proyecto a color, que se complet&oacute; en el river con un 7 de corazones.<\/p><p> Con la mesa reducida a tres jugadores y con todo el apoyo de su p&uacute;blico, Erick Cabrera buscaba el primer puesto junto a Barrows y al &uacute;ltimo campe&oacute;n LAPT Nacho Barbero. <\/p><p> En una mano encontrada, Cabrera jug&oacute; bet call frente a Barbero en un flop 10-8-6, llevando top pair top kicker con A-10. El turn trajo un 3 y, tras el check del argentino, Cabrera se anunci&oacute; all in. Barbero hizo instacall, ya que hab&iacute;a flopeado las nuts con 7-9 y la mano del local estaba muerta.<\/p><p> El heads up comenzaba con ventaja de m&aacute;s de 5-1 en favor de Nacho Barbero, quien al cabo de unas pocas manos hizo call all in con A-7 para verse delante de Barrows y su A-2. El flop 7-K-Q le daba sin embargo proyecto a color a Barrows. De todos modos, el norteamericano no logr&oacute; completarlo en las siguientes calles y ese fue el final del torneo.<\/p><p> Barbero se convirti&oacute; de esta manera en el primer jugador en ganar dos eventos LAPT, ya que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokerstrategy.com\/es\/news\/world-of-poker\/El-LAPT-Punta-del-Este-quedo-en-manos-de-Nacho-Barbero_30315\">hab&iacute;a obtenido el primer puesto en el LAPT Punta del Este<\/a> a fines de febrero. Es adem&aacute;s el primero en conseguir dos victorias consecutivas en uno de los circuitos en vivo patrocinados por PokerStars.
