\nalegría “praios”<\/em> logró llegar a “No-Limit High Stakes”<\/em> (nivel de
\napuestas ilimitado) a pesar de que su carrera no tuvo un óptimo comienzo. Luego
\nde que el joven de 25 años alcanzara el estatus de “BlackMember”<\/em>  en PokerStrategy<\/em>, se dispuso para una
\ncharla con nosotros.<\/span><\/strong>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span><\/strong>\n<\/p>

\nPraios<\/span><\/strong>
\ncomenzó su carrera como un jugador Fixed
\nLimit <\/em>(jugador de límite fijo), no precisamente exitoso. El cambio a No-Limit <\/em>significó para él más de lo
\nesperado. Entretanto, se encuentra en los límites No-Limit<\/em> de $1.000 a $5.000. El aprendizaje de este presunto buen
\njugador también forma parte del Póquer diario. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\n„doble cabeza“ los aprendí de mi padre, a la edad de 12 años más o menos. Con
\nesto no participé de ningún torneo, los que por lo general son como “premios
\nSkat”. Se pueden ganar premios tontos como un pavo y juegan, entre comillas,
\nsólo viejos. Pero nosotros teníamos nuestros propios juegos en casa. Recuerdo un
\ntiempo en el que mi hermano, un amigo de él y yo todos los días directamente
\nluego de la escuela nos poníamos con el “Skat” y entre mi hermano y yo le
\ntomamos al amigo su dinero de confirmación, durante semanas, hasta que su padre
\ntomó medidas sobre el asunto y ¡le prohibió que volviera a jugar con nosotros!<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy:<\/span><\/em><\/strong> Parece muy
\ngracioso lo que cuentas, y está claro de dónde viene tu afinidad con el póquer.
\n¿Tienes también un pasado como e-deportista, al igual que otros muchos de
\nnuestros BlackMembers<\/em>?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>Praios<\/span><\/strong>: Yo jugué Counterstrike<\/em>[1]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>.
\nTambién era activo en clanes y pudimos, en nuestro entorno, alcanzar buenas
\nposiciones en LANs<\/em>[2]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>.
\nNunca alcancé el gran Clan Top<\/em>, pero
\nbien que jugué.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy<\/span><\/em><\/strong>: A propósito, BlackMember<\/em>… Felicitaciones por tu
\ningreso a ese exclusivo club. <\/span>¿Cómo comenzó tu
\ncamino hacia los 500.000 Strategy-puntos?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>Praios: <\/span><\/strong>Bien... yo
\ncomencé con el póquer a través de un amigo, quien me había recomendado una
\ncuenta Playmoney<\/em> en el Everestpoker[3]<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/em>.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nAllí pude acrecentar mi dinero de juego con mucho
\néxito. En algún momento vi un reportaje sobre los campeones alemanes de póquer
\nen DSF[4]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>,
\ndonde también mostraban a Kom. En la entrevista él publicitaba a PokerStrategy<\/em><\/strong>
\ny pensé que sonaba interesante. <\/span>Entonces
\nme inscribí, aprobé el cuestionario y (como era entonces) comencé con el
\nFixed-Limit.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nEste comenzó a ir muy bien. Trabajé duro con los
\nlímites y conseguí efectivamente un bonus de $100. Entonces debí ciertamente
\njugar en mesas FL 50 c\/$1, porque en aquel entonces, luego de 40 días no me era
\npermitido jugar en mesas de principiantes que eran las mesas normales más bajas
\nen PartyPoker. <\/em>Allí tuve entonces
\ncasi $200 Bankroll<\/em> y junto a eso me
\ntocó una bastante mala racha. En ese devenir perdí todo, salvo 5 dólares. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nEn mi desesperación comencé con No-Limit <\/em>al igual que con Bigstackstrategy<\/span><\/span><\/a>
\n<\/em>(por suerte en ese momento se introdujeron las mesas Microlimit<\/em>. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPude rápidamente acrecentar mi Bankroll<\/em> y desde entonces sólo ha seguido subiendo (con un par de Downswings<\/em> entre medio).<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nAhora juego en No-Limit 1.000 o más.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy: <\/span><\/em><\/strong>Aunque tu
\ncomienzo con seguridad no fue óptimo, la tuya es una linda historia de éxito.
\nIncluso se publicaron dos videos No-Limit 5.000
\n<\/span>tuyos en PokerStrategy<\/em><\/strong>. ¿Encuentras dicho límite como tu límite o
\ndebiste en este último tiempo descender?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>Praios:<\/span><\/strong> No,
\ntodavía no debí descender. Juego aún en NL5.000, pero en comparación con muchos
\nregulares sólo en buenas mesas, es decir cuando “los pescados” recién comienzan.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nEsto no sucede muy a menudo en este límite, se me
\nencuentra en NL5.000 relativamente poco.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPienso en un punto que mi éxito tiene que ver con mi
\nbuena selección de mesas. Voy en el juego consecuentemente por el camino contra
\nlos regulares, mientras no haya ningún pescado en la mesa. Esto es porque
\npienso que cuando se juega en todas las mesas, no importa quién se siente a
\nella, se tiene normalmente sólo una “pesca” marginal (cuando se tiene siquiera)
\ny eleva tu Swing dramáticamente.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy: <\/span><\/em><\/strong>Entonces
\nves una gran diferencia competitiva entre NL2.0000 y NL 5.000 ¿Qué es lo que
\nhacen los regulares de NL5.000 tan bien?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>Praios:<\/span><\/strong> Yo pienso
\nque el gran salto se da entre NL200 y NL400 y entre NL600 y NL1.000. Y luego es
\nNL2.000 de nuevo claramente más duro que NL1.000. En NL2.000 y NL5.000 las
\ndiferencias en los regulares, según mi opinión, ya no son tan extremas.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nEl póquer es un juego en el que gana el que menos
\nerrores comete.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nMientras más alto en los límites se llega, menos
\nerrores realiza la gente. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nAparte, los regulares tienen mucho más bajo control las
\ncosas como Tilt<\/em> (decaída) y juegan en
\nsituaciones marginales todavía un punto mejorr que los del límite inferior.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nY a partir de NL5.000 se encuentran naturalmente
\nabsolutos excelentes jugadores mundiales como Brian Townsend, contra los cuales
\nes absolutamente duro jugar.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy: <\/span><\/em><\/strong>Palabra
\nclave: Situaciones marginales: En las entrevistas muchos exitosos jugadores
\nBlackMembers nombran cuán importante es el trabajo en el propio juego,
\ncomenzando con los límites más bajos a través de las manos “posteadas”. ¿Qué
\nhaces tú por tu juego?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>P<\/span><\/strong>raios:<\/span><\/strong> Yo “posteo”
\nmanos, hablo con otro buenos jugadores sobre manos jugadas, leo estrategias en
\nlos foros, evalúo las manos de otros jugadores y miro muchos videos.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy: <\/span><\/em><\/strong>Y en
\ncuestiones psicológicas y la susceptibilidad frente a Tilts<\/em> (decaídas), ¿Es para ti el deporte, por ejemplo, como
\ncomparación muy importante?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>Praios:<\/span><\/strong> Si. Por un
\nlado eso y por el otro, me gusta en muchos ámbitos de mi vida llegar al límite.
\nEso me es posible, naturalmente, también en el deporte. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nAdemás, a uno le gusta también conservar una buena
\nfigura y no ser un ejemplo típico de un nerd<\/em>
\nde computadora o algo parecido. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nCon respecto al Tilt<\/em>:
\nCreo que el aprendizaje en este sentido es un largo proceso. Cuando yo aún
\njugaba NL400, tuve sesiones extremas de Tilt. Eso no sucede hoy casi nunca.
\nDepende mucho también de la personalidad. Algunas personas que son un poco
\ncoléricas, vuelven a toparse con Tilts una y otra vez. <\/span>Lamentablemente, esos jugadores no logran,
\npor lo general, no más que NL400, por lo que con tales candidatos se puede
\nperder mucho =)<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nCon eso se puede ver al póquer también como un medio
\npara fortalecer la paciencia y la resistencia al estrés en la propia
\npersonalidad. <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nY, luego de una sesión en la que se perdió mucho, el
\ndeporte es ciertamente ideal para aclarar la mente.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy: <\/span><\/em><\/strong>Para ti
\nparece, en todo caso, haber funcionado. ¿Cuáles son tus metas entonces para el
\npróximo tiempo?<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n\"\"<\/strong>Praios<\/span><\/strong>: No tengo
\nen realidad ninguna meta concreta en el sentido de “tengo que hacer esto o
\naquello”. Sería sólo fantástico, si se me diera seguir tan bien mi rendimiento
\nen el póquer como en estos tres últimos meses. Lo que es ya una meta =)<\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPor otro lado, no me he figurado nada concreto.<\/span>\n<\/p>

\n <\/span>\n<\/p>

\nPokerStrategy: <\/span><\/em><\/strong>¡Un próximo
\nobjetivo puede ser ir a la
\nFiesta de los BlackMember<\/em>
\nel 5 de abril! Allí serán incluso uno de los pocos jugadores No-Limit, pero
\nallí habrá también, según experiencias anteriores, pocas discusiones teóricas.<\/span>\n<\/p>
