Los últimos 10 jugadores se hicieron presentes para la última jornada de este evento y después que fuese eliminado David Olmsted ($16.088) se dio inicio a la mesa final oficial.<\/p>

Uno de los shortstacks de la mesa fue el primero en caer, Chad Dixon, mientras que la única dama de la mesa lograba doblarse en varias ocasiones se sucedieron varias eliminaciones hasta que 'The last woman standing', Pot Kim, caía en 5ta posición. Cuando quedaban 3 jugadores el resultante vencedor le tocó el milagro que necesitan los campeones, después que Paul Cogliano abría él se restaba con 16 ciegas, Cogliano hizo call. Boyd mostró A7 y Cogliano AK. Todo parecía que Boyd era el siguiente eliminado y así lo confirmaba el board cuando salió 9-5-2-8 pero el river le otorgó el milagro: ¡7!<\/p>

El 3-handed seguía duro y después de dos horas del milagro de Boyd se despedía Cogliano cuando sus \"\"\"\" no pudieron hacer nada antes el \"\"\"\" de Boyd. Así comenzaba el heads-up con una ventaja de Boyd sobre Norden de casi 2:1. El heads-up se definió en más o menos una hora cuando Norden quizo hacerle un bluff a Boyd en el river con King-high, Boy hizo call y mostró top pair.<\/p>

Eric Buchman ha obtenido el 2do brazalete en su carrera al imponerse en este evento de Seven Card Stud. A Buchman se le recuerda por haber sido 'november nine' en el 2009 cuando llegó 4to en el evento principal. Esta jornada final arrancaba con sólo 6 jugadores con opciones a la victoria y Buchman era 4to en fichas, el primero en ser eliminado era el shortstack de la mesa Nabih Helmi que no pudo recuperarse de su malograda situación. Luego cayó Bryn Kenney y le siguieron dos eliminados más hasta que se llegó al heads-up en el que Buchman venció a Alex Kravchenko en aproximadamente una hora de juego.<\/p>

Evento #35 Eight-Handed No Limit Holdem $5.000<\/h2>

El chipleader de este día ha sido Jeff Madsen quien acumuló un stack de 661.000 fichas. La jornada la iniciaban 170 jugadores buscando estar en los 56 puestos premiados. La burbuja se rompió y después de algunos niveles se finalizaba la jornada con 23 sobrevivientes. Quienes no llegaron a los premios se encuentran: Isaac Baron, Dan Heimiller, Fabian Quoss, Jennifer Tilly, Jason Mercier, Dan Shak, John Juanda, Amanda Musumeci, Philipp Gruissem, Igor Kurganov, Sorel Mizzi y Dario Sammartino quien no se apareció en ningún momento en la sala de juego. Quienes sí entraron en premios pero no pudieron superar el corte se encuentran: Michael Mizrachi (44 - $11.141), Steven Silverman (43 - $11.141), Eric Baldwin (38 - $12.847), Jonathan Duhamel (37 - $12.847), Aaron Massey (31 - $15.148), Dan O’Brien (28 - $15.148) y Nick Schulman (26 - $15.148).<\/p>

En este torneo participó el colombiano Mayú Roca quien nunca pudo recuperarse del todo de su precario stack y quedó en los puestos cercanos a la burbuja. Mientras que los españoles Samuel Bernabeu, no encontramos su nombre en la lista de sobrevivientes, y Sergio Aído \"Petgaming\" quien cayó a muy pocos puestos de entrar en premios, él mismo anunciaba en su twitter la mano fatídica de su eliminación:<\/p>

Eventos #37 y #38<\/h2>

Ayer se dieron inicio a dos nuevos eventos. El evento #37 es un torneo Pot Limit Omaha de $1.500 de buy-in. Se registraron 967 participantes de los cuales pasaron a la jornada de hoy 113 jugadores todos en premios ya que se jugó hasta un poco después que se rompiera la burbuja de premios (117avo lugar). El ganador de este evento obtendrá un premio de $264.400 y el chipleader ha sido Brandon Paster con 135.300 fichas un poco por encima de Fabrice Soulier (129.300). Hay que destacar que el costarricense Humberto Brenes está entre los sobrevivientes (11.900) y ya suma ocho cajas en esta serie wsop. Por el contrario, Carlos Mortensen fue uno de los eliminados del día de hoy.<\/p>

También se dio inicio al selecto evento #38 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Championship de $10.000 de buy-in en el que se registraron 134 de los cuales tan sólo 16 entrarán en premios. Hace minutos finalizó el día 1 sobreviviendo 75 jugadores resultando chipleader el Team Pro de PokerStars especialista en juegos \"no holdem\" George Danzer quien acumuló la cantidad de 237.800 fichas. Por lo selecto del buy-in muchos jugadores famosos se registraron en este evento entre los cuales no vendrán esta tarde: Bertrand \"ElkY\" Grospellier, Jason Mercier, Vanessa Selbst, Barry Greenstein, Tom Schneider y Scott Seiver. Hoy se jugará la 2da jornada de este evento.<\/p>
