El año pasado revisé Pairrd de Raise Your Edge<\/a>. Una manera interactiva de practicar spots frecuentes de MTT de bencb<\/a>.<\/p>

Este mes lo han llevado a un nuevo nivel, Pairrd ICM,<\/a> que me ha entusiasmado bastante. Como probablemente sepas, el año pasado publiqué un libro sobre ICM<\/a> y mis tres últimos libros han tratado esencialmente sobre el modelo de chip independiente (ICM), siendo los dos anteriores sobre los PKO y los satélites.<\/p>

Así que, el ICM es un tema que he estudiado intensamente durante más de tres años. Podria señalarse que estoy parcializado, aunque no tengo ninguna relación directa con Raise Your Edge, cualquier producto que muestre lo importante que es estudiar el ICM lo encuentro positivo. Se podría argumentar que Pairrd es un competidor de mis libros, pero en realidad creo que probablemente ayudará a las ventas si hace avanzar la discusión en la estrategia de poker sobre el ICM.<\/p>

Un producto que evoluciona<\/h2>

El formato es el mismo que el del Pairrd original. Es una herramienta de entrenamiento con una base de datos de pruebas y rangos para que puedas profundizar en los spots que surgen a menudo en las mesas. Es una manera de desarrollar la memoria muscular en las situaciones comunes sin arriesgar dinero en las mesas.<\/p>

La diferencia es que estos spots son rangos de ICM, que como aprenderás se vuelven importantes mucho antes en los torneos de lo que la mayoría de los jugadores se dan cuenta. En cada spot también puedes comparar el rango ICM con el rango ChipEV. Esto pone de manifiesto la magnitud de las diferencias estratégicas y te ayuda a desarrollar una comprensión más holística del ICM<\/p>

También hay un grupo privado de Discord que creo que puede ser el mejor aspecto de todo esto (soy un gran fan de esta forma de aprendizaje activo). El producto está en fase Beta en este momento (sólo hay 100 plazas disponibles así que puede que no sea posible apuntarse cuando leas esto) así que si esto sigue así me sorprenderá, pero ahora mismo bencb<\/a> está respondiendo a las preguntas todos los días, lo que ya vale el \"precio de la entrada\".<\/p>

Como está en fase Beta los primeros días fue bastante difícil navegar por el producto pero parece que están arreglando los problemas menores rápidamente y es mucho más fácil de usar apenas una semana después. Sin duda, cuando se lance por completo será mucho más fácil de usar.<\/p>

Otro problema menor es que algunos de los cuestionarios tienen algunas preguntas muy obvias. La mayoría de la gente sabe que hay que foldear 72o a un shove en la burbuja y, con suerte, cuando el producto se lance por completo, filtrará las manos de los borders, los spots cercanos al bottom del rango, en lugar de los calls y folds obvios.<\/p>

ICM incide en todo en cada etapa de un torneo<\/h2>

La lección clave de Pairrd es que el ICM es un factor que influye en tus decisiones de forma bastante inmediata en los torneos. Si juegas rangos de ChipEV al principio de un torneo, probablemente estés cometiendo un gran error, al menos en las manos borders.<\/p>

Hasta ahora, ninguno de los spots de Pairrd son de mesa final, de hecho, la mayoría son mucho antes. La burbuja es el último lugar, y en algunos casos los spots están en el juego muy temprano con la mitad del field restante.<\/p>

Estoy de acuerdo con este enfoque, aunque sospecho que algunos clientes pueden venir a Pairrd ICM esperando simulaciones de mesa final. Ya hay una cantidad decente de recursos y herramientas para la estrategia de mesa final, y casi nada sobre ICM de juego temprano<\/strong>. En este sentido, Pairrd ICM llena un vacío en el mercado. La mayoría de los jugadores cometen errores de ICM en la fase inicial de los torneos, por lo que este es un área genuina para crear ventaja.<\/p>

Una zona no estudiada en los torneos de poker<\/h2>

Dicho esto, si eres nuevo en el ICM, yo ciertamente me familiarizaría con algunas de las herramientas de poker<\/a> más establecidas y con los consejos de estrategia para etapas finales. En mi opinión, es necesario que te pongas al día con eso primero para poder ver el beneficio de Pairrd ICM.<\/p>

Comparar los rangos de ChipEV con los rangos de ICM es muy útil, lo hicimos ampliamente en nuestros últimos tres libros. No se trata sólo de ajustar los rangos, ICM cambia los tipos de manos que debes jugar. Comparar el ICM con el cEV es ciertamente la manera correcta de pensar en el ICM y los amplios rangos para casi todos los spots preflop que deben ser estudiados en profundidad.<\/p>

Pairrd ICM no cubre actualmente el ICM post flop<\/a>, que es un área de estudio muy inexplorada. Lo cubrimos en nuestro libro, y PIOSolver es ahora consciente de ICM, pero si usted está buscando específicamente para ICM post-flop entonces Pairrd ICM no es una opción.<\/p>

Estoy parcializado, pero la mayoría de los jugadores de poker, incluso los muy buenos, no se dan cuenta de lo importante que es el ICM en cada fase de un torneo.<\/strong> El Pairrd ICM cubre un área importante que hasta ahora no se ha estudiado en el poker. Si eres nuevo en el ICM, probablemente debas repasar primero el ICM en la mesa final, que es el que tiene el mayor impacto en tus resultados, pero si eres un buen reg que busca una nueva área para obtener una ventaja, el Pairrd ICM podría ser para ti.<\/p>
