La semana pasada GGPoker<\/a> lanzó la primera de muchas nuevas funciones 'Prop Bet' (apuestas paralelas). La Prop Bet 'Last Longer'<\/strong> es para MTT y es una apuesta paralela adicional entre un grupo más pequeño de jugadores para un torneo específico.<\/p>

Puedes configurar una apuesta Winner Takes All last longer (el ganador se lo lleva todo) o una estructura normal de premios<\/strong> basada en las posiciones finales que reflejen las del torneo apostado.<\/p>

Las 'prop bet' pueden ser tan pequeñas como el 10% del buy-in y tan grande como el 200% del buy-in del torneo objetivo.<\/p>

Y lo que es más importante, ¡las apuestas \"Last Longer\" están totalmente exentas de rake!<\/p>

Sin rake lo hace +EV<\/h2>

Lo que hace que este nuevo formato sea tan emocionante es la ausencia de rake. Los jugadores recreacionales pueden disfrutarlo como un mero gambleo, pero los jugadores serios deberían considerar aprovecharlo al máximo para aumentar su EV.<\/p>

La mayoría de los fields de GGPoker son grandes y, por lo tanto, tienen una alta varianza; pero participar en un 'Last Longer' de 20 jugadores en un field de 1.000 jugadores es una forma estupenda de reducir la varianza. Puedes llevarte el premio de un mini torneo sólo por entrar ITM, si quedas por encima de los otros que apostaron.<\/p>

Y lo que es más importante, son una seria consideración para cualquier jugador ganador. Si, por ejemplo, tienes un 40% de 'edge' en los MTT de $10 y un 20% en los MTT de $20, el Last Longer es una buena forma de invertir más dinero en los juegos en los que tienes más 'edge'<\/strong>. Es una buena alternativa a subir de nivel, ya que puedes invertir más dinero sin rake en las mesas en las que tienes mayor 'edge'.<\/p>

También reduce tu rake efectivo<\/strong>, si tienes $30 invertidos en un torneo entre el buy-in y las apuestas Last Longer, el rake es de sólo $0,80 del buy-in inicial. Eso hace que el rake sobre los $30 de buy-ins sea sólo del 2,67% en lugar del 8%.<\/p>

El tiempo dirá, sin embargo, si el Last Longer es más para regulares o jugadores casuales. Podría ser que los Last Longers sean más duros, jugador por jugador, pero intuyo que será disfrutado por todas las partes<\/p>

La gran consideración sobre la función Last Longer es que necesitas registrarte desde el comienzo del MTT. Esto está quizás diseñado para disminuir los 'overlays' haciendo que todo el mundo se presente temprano al torneo.<\/p>

Si has seguido todos mis escritos, sabrás que el registro tardío es bastante rentable<\/a>. La pregunta es si la reducción efectiva del rake y la inversión de más dinero en un formato más blando merecen la pena para perder el aumento de la equidad del registro tardío. Creo que eso dependerá de lo blando que sean los 'fields' del Last Longer y de lo popular que sea esta función de Prop Bet.<\/p>

También puedes apostar Last Longers en el Día 2 de los torneos. Esto evita el problema de cuándo hay que registrarse y además los stacks son variados. Si tienes mucha experiencia en etapas finales y un gran stack, parece obvio hacer last longers en el Día 2.<\/p>

Un formato en el que creo que deberían tenerse en cuenta son los torneos PKO. El registro tardío es una mala idea en los PKO<\/a> porque no quieres perderte ningún bounty. Los PKO son de alta varianza, vas a bustear pronto muchas veces, pero un buen jugador también los ganará más a menudo. Por lo tanto, la variante Winner-Takes-All de la apuesta Last Longer podría ser rentable.<\/p>

Una vez más, es el hecho de que esta función sea libre de rake es lo que debería ser emocionante para los grinders. De todas formas, si te registras a tiempo, es una forma estupenda de reducir la varianza e invertir más dinero en tu 'edge' en niveles más bajos.<\/p>
