Hay dos cosas en las que me fijo a la hora de tomar notas online y\/o mentales sobre los jugadores. Showdowns y frecuencias.<\/strong><\/p>

Cuando observo una mano en la que no participo, cuando llega al showdown, repito la mano en mi mente y pienso en cómo debería haberse jugado. Cuando hacen algo diferente, lo anoto. Busco errores realmente atroces.<\/p>

Por ejemplo, si un jugador en el HJ paga una open-bet de UTG, el flop es 9♦Q♥2♠ y los jugadores hacen check\/call. El turn es un 3♠ y ambos se dan check\/check. Finalmente el river es un T♣ y nuevamente los jugadores se dan check\/check. Digamos que HJ muestra T♠8♠.<\/p>

Concluída la mano la reproduzco mentalmente y pienso en cómo debería haberse jugado. Puedo detectar cuatro 'leaks' obvios en el juego de este jugador. En primer lugar, ha igualado demasiado desde el HJ con una mano débil, por lo que es 'loose' preflop. En segundo lugar, iguala con una gutshot en el flop, por lo que es un poco 'gambler'. En tercer lugar, han perdido una buena oportunidad de hacer un semi-bluff cuando su oponente muestra debilidad en el turn, con un flush draw y gutshot, por lo que es poco probable que vaya de farol cuando apueste en el futuro. Por último, perdió la oportunidad de hacer una 'thin value' en el river con la segunda pareja.<\/p>

A partir de una mano he determinado que este jugador es loose pasivo, y cuando apuesta es probable que tenga una mano muy buena, con pocos faroles o poco 'thin value'.<\/p>

Como puedes apreciar las manos que llegan al showdown tienen un valor incalculable<\/strong> a la hora de tomar notas sobre un jugador. El jugador puede haber jugado una mano a la perfección puesto que no puedes ver sus cartas, pero puede hacer lecturas sólidas sobre las manos que fueron al showdown. En Internet también tienes el lujo de consultar el historial de la mano para volver a jugarla cuando llegue al showdown.<\/p>

Las frecuencias son demasiado importantes<\/strong>, la frecuencia con la que juegan manos desde determinadas posiciones, así como la frecuencia con la que suben, igualan o foldean.<\/p>

Online, esto es muy fácil de determinar si dispone de un Heads-up Display (HUD). Sin embargo, cuando se trata de póker en vivo, nunca tendrás una muestra lo suficientemente grande como para obtener datos fiables sobre un oponente. Eso no significa que no debas tener en cuenta la información que obtengas.<\/p>

Si un jugador abre sus primeras 10 manos, es razonable suponer que está jugando demasiado 'loose'. Si un jugador no ha jugado una mano en tres vueltas, es probable que sea un 'Nit'.
