¿Estás esforzándote todo lo que necesitas?<\/p>

Es una pregunta sencilla: ¿Sí o no?<\/p>

Diciembre es un buen momento para echar la vista atrás y evaluar cómo ha ido el año con respecto a los objetivos que te marcaste.<\/strong> La clave es ser brutalmente honesto tanto con los resultados como con el esfuerzo realizado.<\/p>

Si no puedes mirarte al espejo y decir que has hecho todo lo posible, es decir, que has sido todo lo organizado, preparado, diligente, abierto y reflexivo que podrías haber sido, es hora de hacer una autoevaluación más fría y honesta. A veces necesitas que te echen un cubo de agua fría en los hechos cara a cara.<\/p>

No estoy criticando ni intentando dañar tu confianza. Deja ir cualquier frustración o dolor que tengas al respecto. Considéralo un control de sobriedad.<\/p>

El trabajo duro es algo fácil de falsear.<\/strong> Puedes estar muy, muy ocupado y no trabajar duro, sólo hacer que lo parezca. O puedes estar trabajando duro pero no de la forma adecuada. Es fácil caer en estas trampas.<\/p>

También reconozco que no es posible pasar un año entero haciéndolo bien todo el tiempo. Pero muchos de ustedes aún siguen buscando atajos, no le dan prioridad a la preparación y buscan una salida fácil. No estan dispuestos a cuestionarse un poco y buscan la comodidad con demasiada facilidad.<\/p>

Si me pregunto si he trabajado lo suficiente este año, diría que no. He progresado mucho en comparación con el año pasado, pero la diferencia sigue siendo demasiado grande. Por ejemplo, este año he sacrificado demasiadas horas de sueño cuando no debía, he preferido las actividades fáciles al trabajo duro y he descuidado mi dieta. ¿Por qué progresé en otras áreas, pero no en éstas? Eso es lo que me voy a preguntar en las próximas semanas.<\/p>

Puedo hacerlo mejor. Estoy seguro de que la mayoría de ustedes también pueden hacerlo mejor. La clave está en esforzarse por hacer una evaluación verdaderamente honesta, con franqueza y humildad. Si no lo haces, es mucho más probable que te salgas del camino.<\/p>

Celebración y Evaluación<\/h2>

Un control de sobriedad no es un reproche. Su objetivo es inspirar honestidad, no pesimismo. También he hecho una serie de cosas este año por las que me he partido la espalda y de las que estoy muy orgulloso: he engordado unos 2,5 kg de músculo y soy el más fuerte funcionalmente que he sido en décadas, si es que alguna vez lo he sido.<\/p>

Supongo que tienes logros que merecen ser celebrados. Al hacer tu autoevaluación, debes examinar detenidamente tus logros, celebrarlos y analizar cómo lo hiciste. A continuación, analiza también en qué te has quedado corto.<\/p>

Celebrar las victorias es fundamental<\/strong> porque te da la oportunidad de reconocer realmente tus logros y habilidades, lo que ayuda a estabilizar tu confianza. También puede ser muy motivador reconocer tus resultados y eso puede ayudarte a orientar la fijación de objetivos para el año siguiente.<\/p>

Evaluar el progreso te ayuda a identificar dónde tienes que concentrar tu energía y te puede ayudar a identificar los obstáculos que han ralentizado tu progreso.<\/p>

Algunos de ustedes querrán centrarse en las cosas en las que son malos y analizar en qué se han quedado cortos, excluyendo la celebración de las victorias. Otros harán lo contrario. Sea cual sea tu tendencia natural, haz lo contrario. Es el clásico caso de: si te sientes bien, lo estás haciendo mal. Sentirse incómodo al hacer esta evaluación es bueno.<\/p>

Prepararse para lo que sigue<\/h2>

Una vez realizada la autoevaluación honesta de 2023, es hora de prepararse para el 2024. Te recomiendo que empieces por la hoja de cálculo de objetivos<\/a> y luego actualices tu Análisis del A-C Game<\/a>.<\/p>

Recuerda que ninguna de estas herramientas está pensada para usarse una sola vez. Revísalas con regularidad para reflexionar sobre tus progresos y fijar nuevos objetivos: así es como seguirás haciendo avanzar a tu 'Inchworm'.<\/p>

Cuando hayas terminado con la evaluación y hayas empezado la planificación, tómate un tiempo para recargar pilas si puedes.<\/strong> Personalmente, me tomaré las dos últimas semanas de diciembre para disfrutar de un merecido descanso.
