Apuestas un proyecto pero ligas una pareja. ¿Cómo sabemos si nuestra mano es lo suficientemente buena como para apostar por valor?<\/p>

Afortunadamente, hay un concepto que puedo presentarte y que te da una idea de esto. Veamos un ejemplo.<\/p>

Este es el rango de apuesta de LJ, cuando la mano le llega 'checkeada' en un bote de 40bb single raised pot contra la BB. El flop es 872 rainbow.<\/p>

Los mejores proyectos son T9s y 65s. Ambas manos tienen proyectos de escalera abierta y tres de los cuatro combos tienen proyecto de color 'backdoor'. Con ninguna de las dos manos se apuesta con tanta frecuencia, porque tienen mucha equity<\/strong>, intentar de que la BB foldee es en realidad un mal resultado.<\/p>

Los principales faroles de 'overbet' son K9s y Q9s<\/strong>. Estas manos tienen proyectos 'backdoor' tanto de escalera como de color. JTs es también un farol común<\/strong>, tiene una 'gutshot' con un 'backdoor' de proyecto de color.<\/p>

También tienen una característica secundaria que es útil comprender. Pueden hacer manos decentes de una pareja, que son más poderosas de lo que parecen a primera vista<\/p>

Éste es el rango de call cuando realizamos una 'overbet':<\/p>

Como puedes apreciar hacemos foldear a manos mejores cuando tenemos K9s\/Q9s y JTs. Esto incluye manos que nos dominan como KTs, QTs, KQo, KJo, QJo y QTo.<\/p>

Es genial conseguir que estas manos foldeen, especialmente si ligamos una 'top pair' en el turn cuando sale una K\/Q\/J. Esto se debe a que estamos más seguros de que nuestra 'top pair' es buena porque hemos hecho foldear a mejores 'top pair' posibles<\/strong>. Si ligamos una 'top pair' en el turn al salir una Q con nuestro Q9s; hemos hecho foldear a KQo, QJo y QTo, así que podemos estar más seguros de que nuestra 'top pair' es buena.<\/p>

No podríamos estar tan seguros si nos hubiéramos dado 'check back'. Una Q en el turn podría ser una pesadilla para nosotros porque todas las mejores Q siguen estando en el rango de la BB.<\/p>

A esto se le llama 'promover outs de parejas'.<\/strong> Hemos convertido nuestra 'top pair' relativamente débil en una mucho más fuerte al hacer foldear todas las Qx más fuertes sin parejas en la calle anterior. Es lo contrario de preservar los outs de parejas<\/a>, donde jugamos las 'top pairs' fuertes de forma pasiva para evitar hacer foldear de todo menos dobles parejas o mejores.<\/p>

Promover outs de parejas no es la única razón para apostar con manos como éstas, sólo es algo que hay que tener en cuenta cuando no se liga el proyecto pero se consigue una pareja.<\/p>
