Ha pasado el evento exclusivo para mujeres del WSOP en el casino de Harvey’s Lake Tahoe y la ganadora fue Barbara Brown, quien se llevó un poco más de nueve mil dólares<\/b>. Parece ser que los eventos femeninos están empezando a tener una fuerza incontrolable, ya que por sus novios o esposos empiezan a aprender los movimientos del póquer rápidamente y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos les están quitando la plata a los amigos de sus compañeros en un torneo casero, así empiezan muchas de las jugadores de póquer profesional hoy en día; claro que otras parece que nacieron para este deporte. Al evento entraron 156 mujeres<\/b>, siendo este el evento más grande para mujeres en los últimos cuatro años del mismo evento en el casino Harvey’s Lake Tahoe, también es el evento femenino más grande en entradas en Nevada del Norte. La ganadora, Barbara Brown, es una jugadora de póquer semiprofesional, madre de dos hijos y también es artista. Estuvo disputando casi 11 horas para poder quedarse con el primer lugar. El juego empezó, tranquilamente, a las 2 de la tarde y sólo fue hasta después de la media noche que, la señora Brown, tuvo todas las fichas, las felicitaciones de todas sus oponentes y las del público que veía el duelo desde el segundo piso del casino.<\/p>\n

Para conformar la mesa final fueron necesarias ocho horas y las últimas ocho eliminadas sirvieron para la preparación de Brown, quien entraría no muy bien posicionada e la mesa, al final derrotaría a Terry Solis, después de haber jugado 20 minutos el mano a mano. Por su victoria obtuvo 9.024 dólares<\/b> además del título “Campeona del Torneo Femenino Harvey’s Lake Thaoe<\/b>”. Los eventos del WSOP en este casino continuarán hasta el 18 de noviembre y estaremos pendientes por si pasa algo interesante, hasta entonces.<\/p><\/div>
