Las directivas del World Poker Tour hab&iacute;an pensado expandir su tour enfoc&aacute;ndose en el p&uacute;blico femenino y ya se ha hecho p&uacute;blico la liga para mujeres WPT o World Poker Tour Ladies, el cual se inaugurar&aacute; en el Hotel Casino y Spa Borgata en Atlantic City el 20 de enero con un evento de 300 + 50 d&oacute;lares y las preinscripciones online estaban abiertas desde el 2 hasta el 10 de enero a trav&eacute;s del sitio web oficial. <em>\"Las mujeres est&aacute;n expandiendo sus fuerzas en el p&oacute;quer\"<\/em> dice Robyn Moder, el vicepresidente ejecutivo de los estudios World Poker Tour, <em>\"trayendo una liga femenina del World Poker Tour y haciendo un receso del tour a los destinos principales del juego a lo largo de los Estados Unidos, esperamos levantar y perpetuar la evoluci&oacute;n del deporte y el reconocimiento de las mujeres que lo juegan\"<\/em>.\n<p>Esta primera temporada del World Poker Tour Ladies empezar&aacute;, como ya se hab&iacute;a dicho, el 20 de enero con un torneo de <strong>300 + 50 d&oacute;lares<\/strong>, continuara el 2 de febrero en el casino Commerce ubicado en Los Angeles, este evento tendr&aacute; una entrada de<strong> 970 + 95 d&oacute;lares <\/strong>y se hace gracias a una asociaci&oacute;n con la Asociaci&oacute;n de P&oacute;quer de Mujeres (LPA), la siguiente parada ser&aacute; el 16 de marzo en Bay 101, San Jose, este evento costar&aacute; <strong>300 + 30 d&oacute;lares<\/strong> y tambi&eacute;n est&aacute; apoyado por la LPA. Por &uacute;ltimo tenemos un torneo en el hotel casino Foxwoods en Mashantucket, con un costo de <strong>530 + 70 d&oacute;lares<\/strong>. Las mujeres tendr&aacute;n la oportunidad de ganar un t&iacute;tulo del World Poker Tour en cada evento, adem&aacute;s de una entrada al Campeonato de Mujeres World Poker Tour que se realizar&aacute; en el casino Bellagio en Las Vegas, Nevada, casino que tambi&eacute;n dar&aacute; una fiesta de bienvenida lateral al evento, y que empezar&aacute; el 13 de abril. Este evento tiene un costo de <strong>1.500 + 90 d&oacute;lares<\/strong> la entrada y la mesa final, que se jugar&aacute; el 25 de abril, ser&aacute; televisada. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img126.imageshack.us\/img126\/30\/clientlogosusangkomenxi6.jpg\" alt=\"Susan G. Komen por la Cura\" width=\"181\" height=\"98\" align=\"right\">La mesa final del Campeonato de Mujeres World Poker Tour ser&aacute; filmada y luego transmitida en la nueva cadena del World Poker Tour, el GSN, en el 2008. La ganadora se llevar&aacute; el t&iacute;tulo, adem&aacute;s del dinero. De este torneo afloran cosas muy importantes como la colaboraci&oacute;n para acabar con el c&aacute;ncer de seno, una enfermedad que, estad&iacute;sticamente, afecta a una de cada ocho mujeres que compiten en el WPTL. La asociaci&oacute;n WPT se ha asociado con <strong>Susan G. Komen por la Cura<\/strong>, la red en contra del c&aacute;ncer de seno m&aacute;s grande del mundo, en ella hay, tanto sobrevivientes como activistas luchando por salvar vidas.
