\nEl 4 de abril, la
\nempresa Vega anunció el cambio del Latin American Poker Tour<\/b> al Tour
\nde Póquer de las Américas <\/b>(Poker Tour of the Americas), un nombre mucho más
\ncercano a lo que se busca, pues de los 7 países que se habían hablado
\ninicialmente en Latinoamérica se ha hablado para expandir esto también a
\nEstados Unidos y Canadá, para que realmente sea el Tour de Póquer de las
\nAméricas<\/b>. La compañía de publicidad que elaboró el tour, Vega Promotional Systems Inc<\/i>, citó que
\nel cambio fue resultado de los intereses en la participación de algunas
\nciudades norteamericanas, incluyendo ciudades de los Estados Unidos y de Canadá.
\nAdemás de esto la compañía Vega es la productora de la programación de los
\nvideos que saldrán al aire en Norte y Sur América, el tiempo de las cadenas y
\nlos canales por los cuales se va a transmitir se están negociando actualmente.\n

\"TourEl plan para la
\ntemporada inaugural permanece igual, Vega está negociando actualmente convenios
\nen muchos países latinoamericanos, entre ellos Puerto Rico, Panamá, Colombia,
\nEcuador, Perú, Venezuela, República Dominicana y Costa Rica; sin contar Estados
\nUnidos y Canadá. La temporada finalizará con un Torneo de Campeones<\/i> del Tour de Póquer de las Américas<\/b>.
\nMichael Herron, el jefe ejecutivo de Vega, dijo: \"la respuesta que hemos recibido de todos los países de Norte y Sur América
\nha sido increíble. Nosotros habíamos contemplado lanzar un segundo tour para
\nNorteamérica, pero decidimos combinar los dos y hacer del Tour de Póquer de las
\nAméricas<\/b> uno de los más grandes del mundo. Otro factor que afectó nuestra
\ndecisión fue el reciente torneo lanzado por la sala online PokerStars con el
\nmismo nombre, <\/i>Latin American Poker Tour.

De todas maneras las
\ndiferencias entre el Latin American Poker Tour<\/b> (LAPT) de PokerStars y el
\nrenombrado Tour de Póquer de las Américas<\/b> (PTA) se pueden ver a lo
\nlejos, aunque la más notoria de todas es la cobertura, mientras que el Latin
\nAmerican Poker Tour<\/b> de PokerStars cubre sólo tres países, el Tour de Póquer
\nde las Américas cubrirá, hasta el momento, diez países, entre Norte y Sur
\nAmérica. Los torneos serán estructurados como eventos de invitados para que
\njugadores a lo largo y ancho del mundo puedan ganar asientos vía online o
\nmediante satélites locales. Dado el éxito del European Poker Tour<\/b> y el World
\nPoker Tour<\/b> se puede deducir que no será difícil implantar esto mismo en
\nLatinoamérica, debido a que muchísimas personas lo han estado esperando durante
\nvarios años. Respecto al Tour de Póquer de las Américas todavía no se han
\ndefinido las fechas de los diferentes eventos, pero en el transcurso de las
\npróximas semanas se podría estar lanzando la noticia oficial.<\/p>\n
