\nGracias a la expansión del
\npóquer, hoy tenemos una nueva nación que se une al mundo sin fronteras del
\npóquer online: la República de Sudáfrica. El Parlamento Sudafricano aprobó una
\nley, la Ley de Ajuste Nacional de
\nApuestas<\/i>, para legalizar y regular las apuestas online, no obstante a esta
\nley la falta sólo un poco para empezar a operar: aún espera la firma del
\npresidente Thabo Mbeki. Hasta el momento se tienen algunas declaraciones al
\nazar de algunos columnistas sudafricanos, en las que se puede ver el temor al
\ncambio, como es natural. Un memorando adjuntado a la Ley de Ajuste Nacional de Apuestas<\/i> aludía a la gran parte de la
\nindustria de las apuestas online que estaba llevándose una buena parte de la
\neconomía sudafricana, ya que no estaba siendo regulada y, generalmente, estaba llena de criminales<\/i>. \"Esta situación repercutió en una
\nconsiderable pérdida de ingresos para la nación y compromete la reputación del
\npaís como una nación responsable con su gente\"<\/i>, estas eran algunas de las
\npalabras del comunicado.<\/p>\n

\"Sudáfrica\"
\nLa nueva ley se prepara para
\nlidiar los efectos negativos que pueda producir el hecho de la legalización de
\nlas apuestas online, tanto sociales como económicos. La ley podrá manejar los
\nasuntos relacionados con problemas de adicción al juego, protección al jugador,
\nlicenciamiento, impuestos y publicidad. Cada jugador online necesitará
\nregistrarse con una sala de apuestas online legal que se acoja a la nueva Ley de Ajuste Nacional de Apuestas<\/i> y
\ndeberá enviar un documento que corrobore, como mínimo, la mayoría de edad, para
\nlas leyes sudafricanas significa tener 18 años. El Parlamento Sudafricano se ha propuesto, con esta ley, asegurar
\nque todas las actividades relacionadas con las apuestas online serán llevadas
\nresponsable, correcta y honestamente, protegiendo a los menores y a otras
\npersonas vulnerables a los efectos negativos de las apuestas; aunque la ley
\ntambién permitirá un monitoreo en el sistema de cada jugador sudafricano para
\ndeterminar si es potencialmente adictivo, en caso de serlo restringirle,
\nentonces, las extensiones de crédito.<\/p>\n

Con la aprobación de esta ley
\npor parte del presidente pendiente, podría resultar muy peligroso para un
\nsudafricano registrarse en un sitio de apuestas online, ya que se podría llevar
\nla sorpresa de pasar sus próximos diez años en la cárcel, sólo por jugar dinero
\nen internet. Desde ya las salas de apuestas online, entre ellas muchas salas de
\npóquer online, se preparan para recibir a grandes cantidades de sudafricanos en
\nsus filas, entre los preparativos se encuentra la suscripción a la lista de jugadores
\nvetados, es decir los jugadores con problemas de adicción a las apuestas. No
\nobstante, esta Ley de Ajuste Nacional de
\nApuestas<\/i> no es tan nueva, ya lleva dos años esperando a dar el gran paso de
\nla aprobación, según los expertos la ley entrará en vigencia el año que viene,
\ncuando el presidente la firme teniendo en cuenta las regulaciones adicionales, los
\nimpuestos y todos los procedimientos tecnológicos a seguir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
