PokerStrategy<\/b>: Hola, ¡primero que todo nos gustaría saber quién hay detrás de tu nick, jimmyjoint!<\/p>

jimmyjoint:
\nDetrás del nick hay un estudiante de español y deportes, que se llama
\nGoekhan –nombre de procedencia turco– que juega al poker desde hace
\npoco más de un año y es un miembro de la comunidad alemana de PokerStrategy<\/b>.
\njimmyjoint tiene un amigo que se llama
\nsiete777, con su ayuda comenzó a jugar al poker,
\ny hoy empieza con la evaluacion de manos para la comunidad española. En
\ngeneral, me gusta más la musica vieja, la de los años 60s, 70s, 80s,
\ntambién el jazz, el blues, y muchas variadades del funk. Ademas de que
\nme gusta mucho ver distintos deportes en la televisión, también juego
\nal fútbol desde muchos años; aunque estaba jugando 4 o 5 veces a la
\nsemana en un club, dos heridas en la rodilla me impidieron jugar más.
\nFinalmente, el nick jimmyjoint viene de un
\njugador de fútbol escocés llamado Jimmy Foyd Hasselbaink; me gustó el
\nnombre porque sonaba gracioso, así que lo modifique y me llamé
\n«jimmyjoint». <\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>:
\nAhora que no eres un completo desconocido: ¡bienvenido a nuestra
\ncomunidad! ¿Qué nos podrías contar de tus inicios en el poker?<\/p>

jimmyjoint:
\nGracias, primero que todo. Como comentaba antes, mi mejor amigo,
\nsiete777 –quien, además, es miembro y entrenador
\nde PokerStrategy<\/b>–, me dió la idea de empezar a jugar poker en
\nlínea, y después de un tiempo de estar break even, me dio un par de
\nclases: después de esto, la aventura del poker comenzó para mí.
\nRealmente ese es el motivo por el que estoy aquí; nunca habría llegado
\ntan lejos sin su ayuda desinteresada y la paciencia que
\nsiete777 tuvo en ese entonces. <\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>:
\n¿Tu amistad con siete777 se ha visto modificada
\nde algún modo después de que entraras al mundo del poker?<\/p>

jimmyjoint:
\nNo, nosotros eramos muy buenos amigos antes del poker. Fuimos juntos al
\nmismo colegio durante cinco –o seis– años, jugábamos fútbol en el mismo
\nclub y las casas de nuestros padres estaban apenas a cinco minutos de
\ndistancia; se podría decir que crecimos juntos. De igual manera pienso
\nque definitivamente para ambos el jugar poker fue una buena decisión y
\nque por eso tenemos contacto casi día a día.<\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>: ¿Y cómo fue que te adentraste en el mundo del Shorthanded?<\/p>

jimmyjoint: Bueno, siete777
\ny yo siempre habíamos pensado que el No Limit Shorthanded ofrece más
\nposibilidades para promediar unas ganancias mayores, porque pensamos
\nque habría más jugadores malos. En las mesas Shorthanded hay más acción
\nque en las mesas Fullring y tienes más manos durante el mismo periodo
\nde tiempo, de modo que ambos elegimos aprender y adaptar el juego a las
\nmesas Shorthanded. <\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>: ¿Quiénes son tus ídolos en el poker, quién o quiénes te han inspirado?<\/p>

jimmyjoint: Qué pregunta tan interesante. Yo diría que ninguno de los jugadores de
\n«alto calibre» me inspiraron, porque simplemente es un juego diferente
\nel que ellos juegan al que jugamos nosotros –los de los microlímites y
\nlímites medios– en línea. \"jimmyjoint\"Aunque hay varios jugadores que me gusta ver
\njugar, por ejemplo Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey<\/a>, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan<\/a>, Doyle Brunson<\/a>
\n–por su libro legendario y por ser el primero en escribir los secretos
\nde un jugador para el público– y, por supuesto, a
\nsiete777.<\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>: ¿Cuál ha sido tu mayor logro en el poker?<\/p>

jimmyjoint:
\nYo pienso que una de las mejores cosas en el poker es hacer que otros
\njugadores de poker discutan sobre tu juego. Ese es un logro que ellos
\nentren en tilt cada noche porque tu les ganaste muy bien; es muy
\nsatisfactorio. No se me ocurren otras cosas para mencionar, porque muy
\npoca gente sabe que estoy jugando poker, y aún no me compro un carro, ni otras cosas con el dinero que he hecho en el poker.<\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>: ¿Si tuvieras la oportunidad, qué cosa cambiarías de tu situación actual? <\/p>

jimmyjoint: Oh, me iría a vivir a otro país,
\ncompraría una casa y jugadaría poker en un lugar muy bonito, por ahí
\nalrededor del mundo, donde tenga el océano al lado y un buen clima todo
\nel año. En seis o siete años espero haber viajado por el mundo y haber
\nvisto muchísimos lugares. También espero tener la licencia de conducir
\npara comprarme un buen vehículo con el dinero que haya ganado en el
\npoker.<\/p>

PokerStrategy<\/b>: ¿Cuál es para ti, lo esencial para ser el mejor en el poker y qué consejo les darías a nuestros lectores? <\/p>

jimmyjoint: Para ser el mejor jugador de
\npoker, sólo necesitas mucha suerte (risas). Hablando seriamente,
\nnecesitas ser muy bueno en todas las partes del juego, debes leer a tus
\noponentes muy bien y explotarlos ahí; jugar mejor de lo que ellos
\npuedan jugar con tus movidas, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan<\/a> es excelente haciendo esto, basta ver el buen trabajo que hizo en la quinta temporada de High Stakes Poker<\/i>.
\nA nuestros lectores les diría que sólo deben intentar lo que más puedan
\nmejorar el juego. Sean críticos con su propio juego y traten de
\ndesarrollar sus propias hipótesis acerca del juego de sus oponentes y
