The game itself is very easy to understand. Each player is<br>\ndealt two cards, after which five cards are dealt face-up on the table.<br>\nFirst three, then one, and another one. These are called community<br>\ncards, because everyone can use them in conjunction with their own two<br>\ncards to form their hand. They are<br>\ncalled blinds, because they haven't seen their cards yet. There is<br>\none small bet, the Small Blind, and one big bet, the Big Blind,<br>\nusually double the small blind.\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nThese bets aren't posted by just anyone, but always by the two players<br>\nsitting on the left of the dealer. Since the dealer position moves<br>\naround the table in a clockwise fashion, so does the responsibility of<br>\nposting the blinds. In order to recognize the current dealer, a<br>\nspecial chip is placed in front of the current dealer. For this you just pay whatever the price of the bet was. This means that you don't<br>\n\t\t\tplace any bet and let the next player act. It is like saying \"I'll wait<br>\n\t\t\tand see what happens\".\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><div class=\"emoSubhead\">\nWHEN IS IT YOUR TURN?\n<\/div><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nTo keep betting rounds organized, there are a few rules to know who's<br>\nturn it is. Basically, the action goes round the table clockwise. When<br>\none player has acted, the player to his left can act.\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nIn the first round of betting the player on the left of the big blind<br>\nis first to act. From the second round on, it is always the first<br>\nplayer on the left of the button.\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nOnce everyone has acted all the bets are collected and placed in the<br>\nmiddle of the table. This is called the pot. Whoever wins the hand wins<br>\nthe pot.\n<\/p><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nOn the next page, we will learn about the community cards.\n<\/p><h1 align=\"left\"><b>Flop, Turn, River - The five community cards<\/b><\/h1><div class=\"emoSubhead\">\n<b>THE FLOP - THE FIRST THREE COMMUNITY CARDS<br>\n<\/b>\n<\/div><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nAfter the initial round of betting the dealer deals three cards face up<br>\non the table, so that everyone can see them. They do not belong to one<br>\nparticular player, indeed everyone can use them to create their 5-card<br>\npoker hand. This raises the question: what poker hands are there and how are<br>\nthey ranked?<b><br>\n<\/b>\n<\/p><div class=\"emoSubhead\">\n<b>HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR POKER HAND?<br>\n<\/b>\n<\/div><p class=\"emoNormal\">\nA poker hand is always made of five cards. Not four, not seven, but<br>\nexactly five. You only hold two cards, which you combine with the<br>\ncommunity cards. You won't always need both of your holecards to form<br>\nyour poker hand. Indeed, you can use four of the community cards, or<br>\neven all five, it doesn't matter.
