      He had 32% which means he can c/c potsize bet if he knows he has exactly that much equity. As it was, he thought he might have some FE so he shoved which is not that bad on his part but preflop and flop are obviously just lolbad.

      Hello woodzzi,

      Welcome to the English NL Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future. I hope that with our help you can improve your play and as well move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

      Flop: What's the purpose of raising in first place here? You are 4way, do you erally see a lot worse hands paying you even here? You are just kicking out weaker hands as weaker Qx. Leaving only to act some strong nut-type of holdings sets. We are 4way where it's very likely one of them to have sets and therefore I would rather play it way ahead/behind when it even hurts to give their odds but sometimes it's a must. With raising you are kind of committing yourself and wont even get away and wouldn't make sense to Raise/Fold in first place for example vs BB.

      As played
      Turn: Well, if he takes into account that he may also have fold equity then his shove is better here than Check/Call, so he played turn correctly. ~35% equity is needed if he would Check/Call it and he gets like:

      Board: 6:club: Q:spade: 5:spade:  4:club:
             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    32.09%  32.09%   0.00% { 7s2s }
      UTG+1  67.91%  67.91%   0.00% { QQ+, 66-55, AQs, AQo }

      Which means added the fold equity he should be doing good. But what about our Call is again questionable but once you went for raise on the flop then you shouldn't really be planning to fold.

      Best Regards.
