      Poker Stars $10.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 1851948

      SB: $4.00 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 19, 3B: 9, AF: 6,0, Hands: 123
      BB: $13.70 - VPIP: 33, PFR: 30, 3B: 19, AF: 4,3, Hands: 99
      UTG: $10.01 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 6, 3B: 0, AF: 1,0, Hands: 66
      MP: $14.20 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 12, 3B: 3, AF: 2,9, Hands: 263
      Hero (CO): $10.00 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 19, 3B: 5, AF: 4,4, Hands: 45491
      BTN: $10.36 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 15, 3B: 7, AF: 1,3, Hands: 370

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is CO with K  A
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, BB raises to $1.05, Hero raises to $2.50, 1 fold

Obviously, my play is fine but I was wondering if maybe calling here wouldn't be better since villain's range is so wide and I also have not 4Bet before (villain has folded to a 4Bet once) so I am likely creating quite a bit of fold equity.

It is, of course, much easier to just 4Bet and overall I prefer 4Betting over calling.

Even in position, calling with AK is a little tricky, I rather 4-bet

      Hello Avatars91,

Well, you don't even know how the guy plays postflop nor I am pretty sure you ain't secure in your postflop play either when you calling it. So instead pick the easiest play.

      Best Regards.

Just for the record: for someone that is competent postflop would you recommend calling here? I promise that I won't start doing it if you say yes :)

Yes/No, depends as always in poker does. :D The main point is what were the dynamics before and how we see the guy, accordingly we adjust. Maybe could easily just 4bet/Broke here for value.
