      Checking back there is fine, no worse hand had called you 2 streets, and you had just isolated yourself against better ones. With this line, you gave yourself one free card to hit either 6, 8 or club.

      i tend to a bet.
      a flushdraw is calling 2 streets, also maybe he has some random trash hand like T9 and we secure a free showdown.
      the main reason not to bet is to avoid being c/r'd, it would suck to be raised off such pretty equity.

      as played i'd hero the river. he seems aggressive enough, it's a fair price, all draws have missed and the J just makes it less likely that he has it

      Hello faronel,

      Even though if you go for pot control you can't really fold the hand on the river. Though vs such a guy who is so loose you could easily 2nd barrel it even for value.
