IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players

      BB: $2.99 (149.5 bb)
      UTG+1: $1 (50 bb)
      UTG+2: $1.81 (90.5 bb)
      MP1: $1 (50 bb)
      Hero (MP2): $2 (100 bb)
      MP3: $1.64 (82 bb) 32/2 over 53 hands
      CO: $1.26 (63 bb)
      BTN: $2 (100 bb)
      SB: $1.57 (78.5 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A Q
      3 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, MP3 calls $0.08, 4 folds

      Flop: ($0.19) Q 8 5 (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.12, MP3 calls $0.12

      Turn: ($0.43) Q (2 players)

      Bet size again...
How do I protect against draws, when I'm way behind against 55, 88? and way ahead against 5x, 8x & qx hands?
I decided to play check/call here, which I think is way too weak

      River: ($0.63) 2 (2 players)
      Flush draw completes
Intended to check call here, but villain checked behind.
      Should I have bet?
      If so, how much?

      Hello VorpalF2F,

Bet the flop bigger, you still need to protect your hand and on the turn we continue betting to protect our hand. :) Seems that your sizes are pretty small.

There ain't many worse hands which pay you on the river but though might be more reasonable rather to block-bet/Fold yourself than face a big Bet.

      Best Regards.
