Is it better to just flat call his flop minraise? My only concern is that he might have overpair or 7x and a diamond could be an actionkiller, plus my 4bet is not too big to fold out FD usually.

Unless you were very sure that he was on 7X (which you aren't), flatting the raise is almost always better here when you are IP. If he checks, you can always bet when checked to. And if he bets, you can just keep calling until river before raising. You should not be in a rush to get the money in in position because you can definitely do so by the river.

Let's say you call here, pot will have ~3$, he bets half pot, you call.
On the River, pot has 6$, and you have like 7.50 left. If he bets halfpot, you can just jam over him. If he checks, you can bet close to pot size which puts in 80% of your stack already.

I think the only value we get with a 3b is from 7x. I doubt that a lot of overpairs will call a 3bet here, and there're not many 7x left. FD migh also consider folding since the board is low, paired, and we represent the whole lot of strength.
