I feel like I just played too weak here, but didn't want to c bet a board that hits his calling range so hard. Not sure how often AK AQ float me though, can I just bet flop and give up?

      Hi Chang,

Preflop: I think you should 3-bet larger OOP. 9 BB is hardly enough 100 BB deep and you will get called a lot. Our hand plays poorly if called due to the lack of equity.

Personally I do not 3-bet these small pairs unless we 3-bet/5-bet (vs super aggro 4-betters). Pairs like this play much better in single raised post rather than 3-bet. We rarely hit and when we miss (7/8 times) we have little equity to barrel with.

So either fold or just call this preflop. BB seems on the recreational side because he doesn't have a full stack and in that case calling becomes better.

As played I think ck/giving up OOP on that board with no equity is fine.
