      Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      MP2 ($2.10)
      Hero (MP3) ($3.15)
      CO ($5.20)
      Button ($0.20)
      SB ($3.60)
      BB ($4.60)
      UTG ($1.90)
      UTG+1 ($10.85)
      MP1 ($20.75)

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A, J
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 3 folds, BB raises to $1.20, 1 fold

      Total pot: $0.85 | Rake: $0

With AJ we only raise in late position according to the SHC. In this case I disregarded the Button because he's stack was only 2BB.

I folded to an apparent re-steal move, I was playing without stats.

      Any comments?

I suggest that you don't raise AJs from MP3 with increased stack. You cannot stand up against a 3bet especialy with no stats.

If BU really had 2BB left then it's same as if you were sitting in CO, so I think you can raise AJs this time, but still, it is a fold to a reraise. NH.

      Hello dandycall,

Your preflop openraise on Mp3 with A:dJ is surely good since I would play my AJs against this 2bb BTN anytime.

With a significant large stack, it is very good and safe to fold AJs here. No need to get into trouble.

      I hope it makes sense,
      Gerv
