Whats up I just started my own blog to track my progress and tell a little about what I learn and experience through my poker "Career"

It all started about 2 months ago.At first I didnt pay much attention to the game until my brother asked me if I wanted to play online(just play money)so I said yeah why not.I played for about an hour and I started to get the hang of it.(I thought so at the time anyway)So then he showed me the freeroll tourneys at pokerstars,Played a couple of tourneys and had no luck,Third tourney qualified for a spot in the weekly $1000 Freeroll.Anyway long story short finished the tourney in a place not worth mentioning,Stopped playing for a little while and that was it for the moment.

A little while later I was watching a WSOP replay on youtube and it showed me that there was actually a bit of logic in the game of poker. And watching Negreanu get beaten with a made hand(bluff) showed me that you do need a bit of skill to be a successful poker player.
So i googled "best poker strategy" first thing that popped up was poker listings and underneath something caught my eye,the word "FREE".
Free starting capital of $100+$50!!!NO WAY!!!FREE MONEY!!!
Ofcourse I had to see for myself and it paid off.Now I study the articles everyday and now just waiting on my cap so I can start grinding. :s_cool:

      Hey Brett

Nice to see another Kiwi on the boards. :s_cool:

It sounds like you've got the basics sorted out with your goals... just make sure you observe proper BRM and you're a good shot to get established.

      Best of luck!

      say fish and chips!

good luck with it all, and if you have a bad run dont get disheartened stick to good BRM and it wont hurt you as much.

i recommend investing some money in a HUD program like poker tracker or holdem manager once you have a little bit of profit. very +EV :)

      Got your starting capital yet?

      What portal did you choose?

      And please don't play freerolls.
