villain 27/12/inf/ 26hs. Dont like my call pre as neither villain is 100bb and our hand is marginal.
As played, villain can bet flop with wide range since he bets small and its position bet, maybe:
{88-77, AhJh, Ah9h, KQs, QhJh, 9h8h, 8h7h, AJo, A6o, KQo, QJo, JTo} but could even be more air.
Call should be fine vs this range given price.

Turn is close, but if villain has Ace I think we mostly stack him if we hit, so call is probably ok.

On river, I was intending on folding to any bet but this is so small, I thought our K high maybe good enough, esp since bd is paired. We get 13:1 so hardly need to be good often and sometimes villain is bluffing river with misse fds?

I don't really like you preflop call either.
Might be a good squeeze spot, but I would probably fold it being OOP.

His CBet looks a bit weak and I think you can raise it, also to balance with your sets.
Turn call probably ok even though I'm not sure you get implied odds there as your hand becomes quite obvious.
River call at 13:1 good as well.

flop raise looks like a definite possibility. Villain is pretty short (40bb deep after he cb); if we raise (say to $7 -- 7.5), would you plan on folding to a shove or calling it off?

p.s. in my opinion we could probably call it off because we mostly face overpairs 77-99 and also weaker flush draws + some straight draws, against which we should have enough equity with our over cards and flush draw.

      I'd say call it off.

against 40bb squeeze likely isn´t the best play, but I think call is quite reasonable
Also I´d c/r flop to 7$ and shove any turn card
You have too much equity to play that hand too passively and just c/c being oop with K high
