      Hello all,

Im Phil and from the SouthWest of the UK.

Am new to this site but have been playing poker for about 18 months, mainly playing online at PKR although have tried a few other site's now but always seem to find myself dragged back to PKR!

I have also organised and run my first Live Poker Event which was the Poker Players Meet (South West) Weekend at the Grosvenor Casino Plymouth which was a great success and I am hoping to be running another event in the New Year. This was arranged by my company PPF Events Management and in conjuncture with my own poker forum Poker Players Forum.

As you can probably tell a lot of my live is spent doing things poker related whether it be playing, organising events or just talking about Poker.

I have joined this site in the hope of developing my game, improving on my weak points, and especially to help me learn to play cash better as I am predominatly an MTT Player!

So I look forward to speaking to some of you on the forum hopefully over the coming months and years, and maybe meeting some of you at live events or maybe even the next Poker PLayers Meet (South West)!

Hi Phil, hmmm let me guess whereabouts from the SouthWest you are from, is it possibly a major town in Wiltshire starting with the letter S? :D

Good to have you on board Phil, enjoy all the benefits of PokerStrategy and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.

If I could just ask that you read the forum rules at your leisure and be careful in not mentioning, linking or otherwise advertising your own forum in future posts or your signature etc. as this would be unfair on PokerStrategy.

Good to see you and look forward to getting to know you a little better in due course.

      Best regards,

(from Hampshire, just down the road ;) )
