      No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB

      Hero (Button) ($50.89)
      SB ($49.75)
      BB ($122.36)
      UTG ($87.99)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 10, A
UTG bets $2, Hero calls $2, 2 folds

      Flop: ($4.75) 9, 4, 2 (2 players)
UTG bets $4, Hero calls $4

      Turn: ($12.75) 8 (2 players)
UTG bets $7.75, Hero raises $20, UTG calls $12.25

      River: ($52.75) 10 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $24.89 (All-In), UTG calls $24.89

      Total pot: $102.53

      Villain stats: VPIP 24/ PFR 23 steal CO: 32%, CBet flop 100% (8), turn 100% (4) WTSD 38 % (21) 153 hands.
Planned to 3bet him but BB was fishy and this player fold to 3bet is 17% so far so didn't want to create ugly situation in mutiway pot. I have no reads about his betting tendencies but almost pot on the flop ant only half pot on the turn looks weak so I thought he hold 9x or similar strength hand and tried to represent flush.
Was my reasoning an my play ok? Maybe I should pick tighter opponent? Maybe it's better to check the river against this apponent?
Is it okay to mix my game sometimes like this at this limit?
      Thanks for your help!

yeah i think you should've picked a tighter opponent:)

if you think he is betting flop with air then I like raising flop to 10$ rather than just calling and making moves on the turn
If your image is aggressive he won´t really give you credit and would c/c his overpairs to the river, so with showdown value I like to check back
But folding flop is also fine. Most players won´t bet that big on the flop with air
