      If he indeed doesn't have an A, it's a pretty tough call for him on the river given how weak his turn bet was, he might have had only a draw and if he does have a made hand it's probably not strong at all. Hence when you come out and lead for $1, you're basically hoping he's capable of hero-calling that by putting you on spades.

      Whether it will work out or not depends on the player. Loose, suspicious guys might look it up. Weak/tight dude will just forget about your range and fold because it's a big bet. As a standard I'd bet smaller, but it's your call.
