      I just called the flop to trap him and get another bet from him on the turn in which case I would have raised.

      The reasons why I should raise on the flop:

      #1 obviously to protect against FD
      #2 If a 3rd spades comes I won't get value from him
      #3 If he has TP strong kicker I will stack him off right there no need to wait for the turn. If he folds to my raise I wouldn't have stacked him off later anyway.
